Martinus

Would be good to see some heart from at least some of them.

Even Trafford is better than Mamardashvilli we have bought some utter s***e.

The whole team you mean.

And to make matters worse Van Dijk is done.

No chance.

That I don't want Alonso? Probably because I don't want us to get into the Chelsea/United obsession of hire/fire and so on.

I'm so down because we do need a change just don't think Alonso is the solution. If it's any consolation Enrique is now second favs with the bookies.

Yep and lack of physicality. I agree with the Alonso comparison and he thrived alongside Mascherano. Feel our midfield had been bullied this season. Indeed and if it is the plan we will need another striker given Isak gets injured a lot.

I love Wharton but think we need a proper DM in midfield. Id have no hesitation swapping Mac Allister and Jones for Wharton and Anderson.

My thoughts are we need a CB and a LB if Konate and Robertson leave. (Unless Tsimikas returns and provides cover for Robertson) I personally think we need a RB. Frimpong isn't one and would be better suited as a rotational option on the wing. Bradley I think is injured until November? We need at least one midfielder ideally a proper DM and two wingers as I think Salah and Chiesa will leave and possibly Gakpo. That's 6 already! 5 if Tsimikas returns.

I think we need at least 6/7 new signings particularly if Konate and Robertson leave as expected. We of course won't sign that many meaning we will have obvious gaps in the squad next season regardless of the manager.

If Wirtz isn't performing. It's because Slot doesn't know how to get the best out of him. Similarly to how Rodgers couldn't get anything out of Firmino. Wirtz is perfectly capable of playing and thriving in this league.

Yep I'm the same, I'm not even particularly annoyed now as I was expecting to lose today. I've gone full circle now and would genuinely take Gerrard now until the end of the season if our long term option isn't available until the summer.

Injured....again!

We play like that more regularly he will kick on massively.

Yep I don't want this to happen. I hope it hasn't already.

I suppose that'll do.

I think going out of the champions league could be the final nail. Think there's a strong possibility we do this week.

Gordon and Diomande would be great.

I mean Ekitike through the middle should always be ahead of Gakpo.

I'll be surprised if they do anything now before the end of the season. Only hope this season is Villa continue to implode and we scrape 5th.

We r need another 6 players who are going to need a other season to settle. Next season will be no better.

Apart from Mama who did okay every single one them was s***e.

You'd have to assume Konate has been bribed there is no other explanation for that. He's made Traore look like Zidane.

And yet again Chelsea and Arsenal get byes.
