maybe they should have actual races to decide who gets players. quickest manager over 10K gets the player. Much fairer than whoever has the most money. Or better still quickest chief exectutive. Then we could really start slating Parry for us not signing enough quality players

thought he was one of the best players. his first touch is good, controls most things first time. its what he does after that isn't always the best. However on sat he was frequently a danger, i think how much of the ball he got shows the faith in those around him. His crossing isn't the best but he'd probably never crossed a ball in his life till he came to Liverpool, and the one to Crouch was a peach

There was some very positive articles about the city in the Guardian during our last European cup run. They ran one article, around the time of the final, about how cultural the city is. They ended with pictures of Liverpool and milan and you had to guess whcih one was which, basically showing off Liverpools restaurants, shops and bars. They also made it very clear they were supporting Liverpool over Chelsea in the semi to be fair i haven't seen much of that

i do read the fiver and they take the piss out of everyone. They mainly make comments about scousers thinking everyone in the media is out to get them, which, based on some of the responses to this post, isn't that far from the truth.
