  1. Lineker is a piss poor presenter. Can't stand his little 'jokes'. Think I'll be tuning into Radio 5 for the World Cup commentaries.
  2. Could happen if this story is true, especially if Deco leaves, which I've heard is a possibilty.
  3. What's going on with our defending??
  4. That's more encouraging news. Get well soon, Momo. YNWA.
  5. I'm not nervous at all. Benfica won't be looking forward to playing us. We're the Champions of Europe!!! Bring it on!
  6. I think Roberts and Camara will cause United's defence a lot of grief on Sunday (if they both play).
  7. That's what worries me. I really hope he sticks with Riise at LB.
  8. I thought he played well yesterday. Was impressed with Kewell as well, especially in the first half. The same can't be said for Crouch or Morientes, who, in my opinion, were dire.
  9. Saturday, 11 February 2006 Arsenal 2-0 Bolton Aston Villa 3-1 Newcastle Everton 0-2 Blackburn Fulham 2-0 West Brom Middlesbrough 0-3 Chelsea Portsmouth 0-3 Man Utd Wigan 2-0 Liverpool Sunday, 12 February 2006 Man City 2-1 Charlton Sunderland 0-4 Tottenham Monday, 13 February 2006 West Ham 3-1 Birmingham
  10. That's the thing, while Gerrard is excellent on the right, more often than not he's not really going to try and take on the full back opposite him (this is not a criticism, its just what I've observed). With someone like SWP/Pennant, they'll occupy the opposing teams' defence much more, which is what Robben (the git) and Cole were doing to Finnan and (to a greater extent) Warnock.
  11. Same here. Would have been even more amazed if Traore was in the starting eleven. I really do wish we'd stick with Riise at left back, with Kewell on the left in midfield.
  12. Always rated Defoe, hope we can get him in the summer.
  13. 1. Kewell 2. Gerrard 3. Hyypia
  14. Bring on Gary Neville, you t***!!
  15. Sunderland Middlesborough Newcastle Bye, bye North East!
