I would go with: Reina Finnan Carra Agger Riise Pennant Mascherano Alonso Zenden Gerrard Crouch From there you can change it by either Gerrard moving to the right and bringing on Kuyt/Bellamy/Fowler to go up front with Crouch if need be. Pennant never seems to look too good coming from the bench, so I'd start with him so that he can run at the Milan defence early on. Also, if you go with Gerrard on the right, unless you play Bellamy up front, you've got no real pace in midfield or attack.

Capello has had to put up with the board sounding out other managers (Rafa, Mourinho, Schuster) while trying to do his job. Okay, he's made mistakes this season (which manager doesn't), but to have your team two points off the top with 5 games to go and have to put up with your own board looking to replace you as well, I think he has done well with, as you say, a team that have been poor this season.

I've got a sneaky feeling that Real Madrid are going to win the title. After all the crap that Capello's had to put up with, it wouldn't surprise me to see them win it.

The thing that bugs me about the selection of Zenden on the left is what it means in relation to Gonzalez. Why is he not starting these games? Is it that he's carrying an injury, or is Rafa thinking of using him against Chelsea (which I doubt) and doesn't want to risk him getting injured. Strange selections.
