well our defence looks better suited to play against a team that goes through the middle then one that supplies crosses into the box so heres hoping. Can see a win today!

I hope he stays with Skrtel and the greek, then at least we got one defender that can clear the headers and Skrtel as the one with a little pace. Carra has neither pace or the ability in the air anymore, though he has other qualities... I kinda expect Roy to tell the defence to lie deep so then Kyrigiakos should be nailed on Oh well...

Great post Andy. 90% of the fans and even supporters want RH gone, but we should stop with the e-mailing, tweeting etc. to everyone that's got any pull. Back to basics and let the results dictate RH's future.

Anfield is our church etc. but really, the stadium it self, its concrete and pitch doesn't make it the iconic Anfield. Fill it with whatever other clubs supporters and it would be a daft place. If we bring our culture to the new stadium it would surely get the same reputation as our Anfield of today. The design made of HKS was designed to enhance the sound of the Kop, something im not sure Anfield was designed to do though it works in that way with the roofing, so just imagine the sound you'd get in that new stadium.

I believe Torres needed assurances of where the club was going, not about Rafa, he celebrated in the Spain locker room with a Liverpool scarf. That was the first signs we got from him over the summer regarding him staying or not, and when he got back from his well deserved holidays, away from the media understandably (though we all wish we'd hear him making statements about how he loves it here), he said he always wanted to achieve things with Liverpool. Think the two, or so stars, Elisha mentioned may have left was Carra and Gerrard. Carras interviews in the final months of last season had a lot of "i dont know if im staying" "might have to look for pastures new" etc. feel to them.

first off we need two proper wingers IMO, if you got wingers with pace, ball control and some intelligence it makes life so much easier for you. The opposing team will be worried about you on the counter attack, often they wont push up as high and when we attack we get to stretch the field, allowing more space for those in the middle. Id like us to sign Young and either Mata, Soldado, Hernandes.

Ive been watching the SOS EGM vids now, didnt get much viser of it, but there were some talk about the SOS/SL partnership there. Is the issue of fan ownership totally dead? As now would be the time to try and collect the numbers isnt it? Take direct contact with RBS or Broughton and check on the possibilities of a bid? Some say that if RBS chose to take control we would be going on the cheap etc. And if thats the case that would suit a fan ownership bid I assume, and wouldnt we be favored as the "best suited" owners of the club?

Agger out criticizing our style of play now. Stating that Hodgson wants the ball hoofed out of defense and that the "nice" football should be played further up the pitch. Something that dosnt suit his style of play, so arguably our best defender will be left on the bench for the foreseeable future...
