The options we have to chose from still makes it status quo. a) slightly better then RH and b) slightly worse then the King.

We got a Leonhardsen type of player in our squad already IMO, Meireles. Does a lot of running and often pop up at the right time to give us a goal.

Where were they at the start of the season? from what i can remember the players looked shot then. The lack of confidence etc. I assume was part of it, but still, they looked like they had been playing a full game just before kickoff.

Great compared to a decent RB? Id imagine he would be a pure winger by now if he simply had great dribbling abilities.

Ok. IMO Johnson dosnt really have very good dribbling abilities, he mostly beats his opposition with pace, kick and run. Usually when a RB comes down the line attacking its often an overlap that sets them free. IMO its only injuries that can set a limit for how good a RB he can be, just like with Babbel hes got a physical presence that will beat most opposing LB's and wingers and the pace to go with it. He needs to get better on the ball, more comfortable with it and keep whipping in crosses until he bends it like Roberto Carlos. We got a possible top class RB on our hands. Fingers crossed.

Is there a ceiling for how good a player can be in a certain position? I agree if what youre saying is that he might be more valuable to the team in a different position like CB considering we already have Johnson at RB, but no way is Kelly near peaking at RB. I honestly dont get why so many want to push him inside already, he's still very young and inexperienced. Just because hes got the physics of a CB dosnt make him ready, playing him at RB for a few more years will improve him more as a footballer then at CB IMO. Playing at RB he'll get a better view of the game and as it requires him to get more involved with the attacking play he gets to use the ball more. We got two good RB's at the moment, sadly they both seem a little prone to injuries so I wouldn't shift them yet.

NESV gives the impresion that their here for the long haul, that we must be patient etc. If they dont build a new stadium they are taking a short sighted decision IMO. If they upgrade Anfield to 55k or even 65k capacity because thats what the current demands show after this survey what will they do later on when we need to upgrade again? I assume it would be even harder to upgrade it a second time considering the location. A new stadium like the HKS one had a capacity of 65k and when/if needed you could fill in the corners and increase it to 75k or something. Then again I assume you would have a way of expanding it even further in the future with more ease.
