  1. He said yesterday it really riles him when 'so called' Liverpool fans have a dig at him for his record. The implication of course being that you cannot be a true supporter if you fail to recognise his tremendous contribution for the club.
  2. Heskey scored 60 in over 200 games. He scored 33 in 81 games.
  3. All right then mate. Mind you, Mr 'I'm so lazy I can't be arsed to turn up to training sessions and now i'm a repected pundit' did say he wanted to carry over the discussion after the eight o'clock news when he will have Mr Risdale with him. Whatever, you think of the former Leeds supremo, he only always had the utmost respect for our club so I can't resist. It's bad I know.
  4. Never do mate but thought i'd make an exception today for obvious reasons.
  5. Snap! I'm listening to it. quality radio
  6. Just flicking through radio channels to get feedback on the weekends match and this tool has lost it big time! He is having a go at Rafa for his signings and a few Reds have called in questioning his credentials! Let's say it did not go down to well with him. Granted his views aren't worth two shakes of a rats tail but it is hilarious listening to him on the defensive and spluttering out total s***!
  7. Lucas Torres Aurelio
  8. Benetiz has responded; "I saw what he [Pennant] had to say, but I don't intend saying too much about him," said Benitez. "Kuyt's record is there for everyone to see and he doesn't need me to defend him. You only need to look at the impact he has made to see he is picked on merit and has become an extremely important member of our squad. "He speaks out on the pitch and doesn't have to say a single word to justify his place. He is a striker who is as effective on the wing or as second striker, and, as you can see from his record, he scores goals as well as working hard.
  9. It wasn’t so much the team but apparently the local cuisine and dialect. You try engaging in some cockney banter after a belly load of jellied eels and mash. “Do wot, knock it on the ead, as it happons”
  10. Like I said no excuse. But where you get a set of deluded fans who forget to cry hoof when their own teams does get personel over his famliy then they deserve what coming.
  11. Not an excuse but he was wound up big time by some moronic a*** fans apparently. Some chants about his dead dad washing elephants and mum being a whore. Bang out of order.
  12. He actually said I stay here and fight which is slighly different!
  13. I'm with Merson on that one. Bonkers buy of the season. http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/24838...ohnson_buy.aspx
  14. Everyone I know has had Swine flu and I reckon i've dodged it.
  15. He reckons they were on top for 10 mins, fantastic goal that they didnt defend well. From them on they dominated and should have done better. okay then.
  16. ........are on the way.
  17. This is the key. Both our Brazilian full backs will be the key to unlocking the 'park the bus' sides at Anfield that were our undoing last year. Still early, but important to remember we are up on our points tally this season against teams played this season as against last season tally so far. Oh, and no other team left in the PL beat us last year.
  18. Also Mancs lose and Owen was s****. I shall sleep a restful night.
  19. Downing it is then.
  20. As stated in that piece, the offer (supposedly from Chelsea) has been rejected because negotistions with Real are very well advanced.
  21. Don't think so. Isn't the 80 million spread over a number of years so this isn't going to help their buying postion?. Villa is also off to Madrid and Atletico want 55 million for Aguero. Not much left for them to get that would cause too much worry. Great news today.
  22. Bitters
  23. Robbie Earle Not because he was overshadowed but because he played for Wimbledon
  24. Keane has a point though. As he said, all he wanted was to be treated with respect. All Rafa had to do was to start him each game regardless of his performances and call him sir and all would have been fine. Shame on you Rafa.
  25. What happened to half time? kick off was 7.45 wasn't it?
