i said this yesterday, its starting to stink like Serie A, clubs cheating like City and Chelsea, refs making weird calls and mostly in favour of certain clubs. On top of this we now have players reffing the game by just going down at the slightest touch. I think the gloss of the PL may well be starting to rub off and we're starting to see the reality and it's grim.

Iraola has been give a bad hand by the suits. A very small squad is all well and good, but it can work if you have all decent players. We have at least 4 who will never start, Gomez, Tsimikas , Chiesa and Endo, a few who shouldn't start, Frimpong, Wirtz, until they realise how this league works and others playing somehow out of position! The best we can hope for, is a good run in Europe, replacements brought in first thing Jan and some duds ejected. saying that, if City and Chelsea are allowed to stay in the league after blatant cheating then we might as well scrap the whole lot. Its starting to stink the same way Italian football did

2 absolute duds coming on and 2 of the most expensive players every were brutal today. Has anyone any idea what theyre doing in the market at Anfield

Ali's distribution has been poor

some points from the game so far 1) terrible up front ,bar some lads running quickly 2) a huge improvement in defence amd midfield 3) why do refs allow players to basically fall over and call the foul. The ref did well on the hand ball but FFS every challenge after that was a free

its a bit mad that the 2 worst players out there cost us over £200m between them

he would have won it if he went in 100% but he paused and tried to toe poke it. Might have got their player a yellow as well but nope, he s*** the bed

Gakpo for all his talents is incredibly weak on the ball
