ive no idea why we keep certain players when its obvious to all that theyre never going to play. Why bother keeping them? Case examples -Gomez - almost never fit and then gets injured after 2 games -Chiesa- no idea what this lad can do or not do due to the severe mack of minutes -Endo- probably unfairly hasnt been played anywhere near enough but why keep if youve no interest in using him. Those 3 could get kidnapped and it wouldnt make a difference to our season so why not just bin them off?

the way we have managed the squad the last 3 or 4 windows is similar to what way id have managed UTD. It looks like someone is determined to spend all our cash on fancy lads and have no one defending. Is it only on here that people see we desperately need at least one good CM/DM

id rather we played Endo in CM than him, that doesnt mean Endo is the better footballer, just better at that position and i don't think Endo is that great either. There's loads of defensive minded CM we could get for relatively cheap but insist in show horning players into that position to cover. If Madrid wanted him id sell him for mega money and buy some real CMs, the same with Macca.

Dom after a good start last year has regressed dramatically, too slow, too wayward with passing and absolutely terrible at the defensive side. It doesnt matter which 2 of Dom , Macca or Grav you pick, it isnt a good set up. If we keep insisting on not closing down in midfield we will win nothing and end up at best 10th. Play 352 until we get big strong lads into CM and hope Iraola gets the time to fix things. what a f***ing mess

The stats around us are horrible... the most goals conceded from set pieces last year, out ran in 80% of games and now apparently we tackled less than everyone else. how come we are only "scouting" players we all know? id be expecting experts to be thinking of players other than the same ones a bunch of us auld lads can state on the forum. just seen that stat again, the one where we run less than everyone. In the opening games only Villa ran less and they had 10 men.
