I didn't claim to be.

I damaged the PCL in my left knee two years ago.
-
That means nothing - after the initial pain goes you can walk on the knee. Once you rest it it for a preiod of time it fills with fluid and swells up.
-
If he was human and doesn't require surgery it will be about 4 months before he can put his weight on the knee and walk unaided. They'll need the swelling to go down before they will be able to assess the damage fully.

If you think it's bad you should have listened to the moaning by Giles, Whelan and Dunphy in their post match analysis last night on RTE. The moaning on here is rose tinted glasses by comparison. There wasn't one positive comment made. Some gems: "Liverpool don't have a commanding central defensive partnership, Man Utd have Ferdinand and Vidic, Chelsea have Terry and Carvalho, Liverpool have nothing to compare with that and they will be found out when they play better opposition." "Benitez wasted £8M on a fullback who is so bad and such a liability that he isn't being played. If he spent that money on him then why isn't he playing in the Champions League?" They rolled out the rotation chesnut as well - "He only made one change for the game tonight, but will Benitez name the same side against Man City on Sunday". Ronnie half-wit Whelan : "Benitez isn't a good judge of player he has been at the club five years and look at the team he has built. He inherited Gerrard, he left Owen go and Torres is the only decent player he has signed." Apparently we could have had Deco for the money we spent on Kuyt, but Benitez values workman like players over creative skillful players - I forget which one of the muppets offered that nugget, possibly Whelan. "Too many Liverpool players can't pass the ball or control it, even Torres showed tonight that he has difficulty controlling the ball. They give the ball away too much and then the workman players have to get it back. Which in Liverpool's case is almost the whole team." Steve Finan should be playing for Liverpool - a big chip on the shoulder of John Giles regarding that one. "Finnan did nothing wrong and was forced out of the club by Benitez." There was more but those bits stood out. It pains the fools that we are coasting against teams and winning while their favorites are struggling or playing the beautiful game as it was supposed to be played and losing at home to Hull City.

How close are we to being 100% of what Rafa wants?
Extraordinary Swindle replied to Philby's topic in Liverpool FC
We're 80-90% of the way to becoming the crushing machine. 1 - The team needs to play at the same high level consistently no matter who the opposition are, that's not evident yet. Too often we see that Liverpool are poor when the opposition are poor, yet the same players when faced with quality opposition can be phenomenal. 2 - The players raised their game against Man Utd and Marseille after the team conceded the first goal, they need to cut out that behaviour. It's a great attribute for the team to be able to come back and win a game after conceding the first goal but too often the players seem to need to concede a goal in order to start playing like we know they can. Maybe the two points are related but they are the challenges for the team to move to the next level. -
A reverse mocker - excellent work.

No he didn't - he came from Grasshopper Zurich. He played for Ajax in the 1960s. His coaching experience was in Libya, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Togo and Switzerland.

Liverpool FC may move for Brazilian defender Aislan Sep 25 2008 by Tony Barrett, Liverpool Echo RAFA BENITEZ is weighing up a move for Brazilian defender Aislan - but will only follow up his interest if he can be sure the 20-year-old will qualify for a work permit. Liverpool looked into the possibility of taking the Sao Paolo star to Anfield in the last transfer window, but backed off when it emerged that acquiring a permit at that stage was likely to prove too difficult. But Aislan remains on their radar and his agent, Paolino Oscar, expects Liverpool to make a firm offer for the towering defender in January. Sao Paolo are hoping to receive a substantial fee for Aislan, who has a release clause of £10.5m in his contract, but Liverpool would not be willing to pay anything like that amount for his services. Oscar insists that Aislan will not be handing in a transfer request, even though his client is flattered by Liverpool’s interest. “They had revealed interest in the past one or two months, when the window was open,” he said. “Now, I find that it was more difficult because everything is closed in Europe. “It is in Sao Paulo’s hands and it is they who decide. If Aislan is told to leave, very well. If not, that is good also. “I have respect for Sao Paulo and I do not do blackmail, therefore it is the club who must make the primary move.” Aislan – whose full name is Aislan Paulo Lotici Back – is 6ft 4ins and is considered the most promising centre back to emerge out of Sao Paolo’s acclaimed youth system in several years. He is a regular in the Sao Paolo side and is renowned for his aerial ability. Meanwhile, Reds full back Philipp Degen is facing three weeks on the sidelines after it was confirmed that he suffered two broken ribs in the Carling Cup tie against Crewe. Degen, who was brought to Anfield on a free transfer in the summer, was making his first competitive start for Liverpool in Tuesday night’s tie after he was ruled out for several weeks following groin surgery.
