  1. That's fair enough, but the media will have yet another w*** fest if s*** hits the fan with his management. It's not just the fans, but it does start with them.
  2. The consequences that Dalglish will suffer in the event that he does not deliver as manager will be disastrous. The pressure is far too high to appoint a club legend for a job for which there is no indication he will be able to thrive in. If he's up for it, and is willing to accept there will be many knobheads among the supporters who will be calling for his head after the team's first loss, then that's a different story. Interim manager to settle the players, maybe. Long term manager, not a chance in hell.
  3. With a name like Hicks, you can put your mortgage on it.
  4. But really, ffs. David Gargoyle Moyes? FFS.
  5. We're in for a long, long summer
  6. FFS This is getting from awful to down the f***ing gutter.
  7. Certainly a mouthful
  8. I think this confuses a lot of fans. Forced servitude and such was done away with a while ago.
  9. Scored a couple of crackers as well. It was nice while it lasted. Best of luck, Aurelio
  10. Shirley, it's all a misunderstanding?
  11. Come off it, he wasn't that bad
  12. He's average at best, Riise at worst.
  13. Fair enough don't really know what else to say
  14. A little unfair on the manager that won the league and the FA cup, don't you think?
  15. Think it's weird that's still an issue to people. Ancelotti, if you recall, couldn't speak English at all. He seemed to manage!
  16. As digs said, it's the pricetag that has essentially brought all the media attention.
  17. To read goal.com and believe it would be gross stupidity.
  18. 2 problems with that: 1. The money received from the sale isn't guaranteed to fund future transfers. 2. After losing Torres, Liverpool FC is less of an attractive option for "top class forwards". Torres' development in the Premier League has brought a s*** load of brand equity to the club, and the prospect of losing one of the most recognized strikers in the world doesn't give a player the greatest incentive to join the club who has just lost that.
  19. I think it's a bit delusional to think that the players you've listed would come in with such big names going out.
  20. You can shove your O'Neill up your a*** and so on
  21. wasn't Mascherano ready to commit to a new contract a few months ago?
  22. And believe it or not, given that amount for an incentive, most individuals would've done exactly the same as he did.
