he has great movement, but im not convinced about him out wide. on the plus side, he did seem to be a threat. I like him, just not sure he has the ability to be a wide player. think he can be a good striker though.

very encouraging seeing him with Luis yesterday. he has great movement and his linkup with Suarez looked very good. Luis certainly came alive when Sturridge came on. And I really loved his goal. a poachers goal, we were missing those.

I can understand if his mentality makes him hide from the ball, but tracking back? thats just making an excuse. poor, poor player. doesnt have a place in a team aspiring to win football matches.

being mentally weak isnt the reason he didnt track back most of the first half, or not sticking his leg for the tackle when he did.

I can accept a player having a poor game as long as he tries. but downing.. he just left wisdom to fight on his own today. he has a big blame in the first goal. he didnt even fight against united FFS!!!! I really dont understand why Suso seems to have fallen out of favour this last month. he is our most creative player bar Suarez and he is the only one seems capable of a clever through ball. He also isnt shy about trying this strange thing called "shooting from outside the box".. For me we looke better when he plays, especially in the center.

I am not hammering him for talking expectations down. I am all for him to say we are fighting for 4th, but talking about 2nd is stupid im sorry.

we must be the least composed , most naive team in the league. we needed to finish the game first 15 minutes. then the big phisical player they have got the ball 25 yards from our goal, no one closed him down, he took a shot.. second goal - Suarez loses the ball on the halfway,Allen didnt track the player in the center. third goal - Cole loses the ball on the halfway, the phisical player runs UNOPPOSED into our box for a simple finish. its the same type of goal all season. we dont cope with runs from the middle. Lucas coming back didnt help. the middle trio, again, lacked balance. Allen has been very poor for a while now. he doesnt have the phisical presence of a destroyer but he doesnt really add anything going forward. Lucas and Allen offer nothing attacking wise, but with Lucas lack of pace and Allens lack of strength they also leave us exposed in a way. Gerrard for me has been poor all season. he doesnt track back, but he seems to have lost his shooting ability, and that burst of energy he had. did he even touch the ball in the second half besides his flick for the goal? Shelvey as a wide player? where is assaidi?? and why the f**k Suso cant even get on as a sub for the past month? Rodgers got a team thats lacking depth and quality, but I dont think his lineups help. We are not good enough for fourth (him talking about second was stupid) but we should be higher up the table. we need a very good transfer window as im far from convinced by Rodgers purchases in the summer and I cant say the names getting mentioned are filling me with much hope either. some of our play is very good IMO, but the bad parts are from the beginning of the season and I dont see us improving on these bad parts. Dont know what to think right now. I like Rodgers, something tells me has can be very good manager and take us back to the top, but then again I think we should get better results.

Suso showed more then downing has for us since they both started to play. And Suso is still very young. I am willing to accept poor performances from young players. not from 28 year olds who wont get any better and never showed anything to deserve playing for our great club. anyway. Enrique and Allen were very good today.the stand outs for me.

I moan about downing before each match, posters are saying things like you just said, or "support our player eh.." and then during and after the match everyone complain about him. he is s**t, always was, always will be and it p**sses me off every time he gets on the pitch in a LFC shirt.
