That is awful. Poor guys. It suggests that the club may not be the source of these tickets. Come to think of it most of the packages I was on involved meeting some guy in a pub or hotel in Liverpool to pick up the tickets. Is there any legitimate way to share a PTS with a mate or another genuine fan or is it a straight violation of the PTS t&c's?

I have noticed that the amount of Irish travel agents offering match and hotel packages has increased this year. In fact most travel agents offer them now. These packages tend to be very expensive (extortionate when you subtract the face value of the match ticket and hotel room price from the package offered). I am wondering if some of the extra capacity from the increased security measures is being routed to these "outlets"? I don't know what the story is with our Scandinavian fans but I presume it is something similar for them with travel agents etc. On a side note, for us OOT'ers who occasionally are lucky to get tickets direct from the club via postal applications and e-season ballots etc it is very difficult to get a hotel in the city center because the travel agents have them block booked for their "packages".

According to the Mirror "Steven Gerrard runs down boy, 10 ", I'd expect that type of headline from the other c****. They go on to mention that it was in his "£175,000 Bentley" before bothering to tell us if the kid is ok and likewise Gerrard.

I noticed a letter calling for Rafa to go was published in the Sunday Times Irish edition last week. No carefully constructed argument, just a couple of lines saying he's done no more than Houllier, Evans and Souness. Not sure if it was legit, it could have been a wind up by a rival fan or someone at the paper as I was surprised that it got printed. They only publish about 7-8 letters every week and this one was top of the section...........
