don't think the medics would allow him to play if his eyesight was that bad/impaired. Scholes was off for months with an eyesight condition remember. I think the Momo/eyesight connection is spurious speculation of the type we all accuse the press of occasionally. -

I was wondering the same thing on Saturday watching Arsenal play Burnley. It's not that we haven't got players that can pass and move, I just wonder whether we have the players with the vision and imagination to see the angles and the spaces that Arsenal so obviously do... Torres and Gerrard aside (and maybe Yossi too).

It's not Wayne. He also got us to a second final which proved the first was no fluke (as a lot of the press were stating at the time). In fact, it could be argued that the Istanbul win has been as much of an albatross around his neck as anything else.

You can't really say that as the money spent on the pre-Mourinho signings was huge. It is irrelevant that it was spent before he arrived. I think you can say that it wasn't the money alone that got Chelsea their titles.
