  1. He seems to live up to his name by actually "Crouching" when he goes up for a header. All he needs to perfect is his timing, power and positioning. Basically needs to perfect being able to header.
  2. No video of this? not even a mobile phone camera clip?
  3. Brand awareness i guess. £200m isnt really that much for Coca Cola, if they have a famous team such as liverpool playing in one of their stadiums then it makes the rest of the world look. Not that any one hasn't heard of coca-cola...
  4. If it was true, maybe the coke's at half time wouldnt be so watered down...
  5. Glad you enjoyed your stay here, living in Liverpool i generally take things for granted, nice to see people appreciate the things though.
  6. lol yea, saw him... cheered my day right up
  7. With Delta its: £30 from Liverpool to Manc air £35 from Manc Air to liverpool (only cos the driver has to pay to park, getting up there etc)
  8. What game were you watching? The last 30 or so minutes? After Ballack got sent off we had new belief, the other 60 or so minutes Chelsea had us. Once Ballack had gone off we should of gone up, it's just we never put our chances away. The only decent attempt we had when Ballack was on was Kuyt hitting the bar... The rest of the time we just wasted our passes - either too long or just straight to a chelsea player.

  11. Good lord, there were actually "easy" chants coming from our fans!? Quick, some one call the police and have those people arrested immediatly! (Arrest the people who started this pathetic thread too whilst you're at it)
  12. lol @ this thread... As long as our fans aren't chanting anything negative or about deceased fans/players then I don't have a problem with it. The end of our support? Thats one hell of an exaggeration, just because a few "Easy" chants got thrown around (Which i don't have a problem with, reminds me of soccer AM) doesn't mean our whole fan base is going to collapse into one pile of mess. Enjoy the win... just like the fans who were there did.
  13. Kirkland probably wouldn't want to come back either. He'd be a 2nd choice keeper, and no footballer wants to spend a whole season on the bench when they have the option of being first choice at another premiership club.
  14. Just wondering if any one went to the shop today, or walked past, and noticed the queue? I was looking to go get the name and number on my shirt today (bought it on release day, but couldn't be bothered queueing 3 hours for sissoko's name!). i've kept all the receipts and the labels are still on the shirt, so there shouldn't be a problem with getting it done.
  15. Isn't it just the baby ones that have been recalled?
  16. So its your fault we haven't got the funds to buy Kuyt then?

    Riise to Chavs?

No dice. They won't offer to buy him, it's purely a scare tactic into making the a*** boys think that Ashley Cole isn't all that thus making them accept Chelsea's price tag.
  18. I used to be a large in Reebok shirts, and when i was looking in the shop at them there were no larges left but the mediums looked about right. Bought it, got it home and compared it with the old away shirt (reebok white with green carlsberg) the only difference is that the Adidas shirt is shorter at the front than the back, the lengths are the same and cant really feel a difference in them. Oh, by the way, did any one getting the printing done at the official shop today in the city centre? I went at quarter to 5 and the queue was 3 hours long to get it done... some woman walked past and said she'd been waiting for 6 hours! I've just kept hold of the receipts and will take the shirt back to get printed later on next week, i just hope i can do that! I'll keep the labels on just in case. EDIT: Also, to who ever was asking about the neck being way to small, Adidas and Liverpool have done a product recall on the mini-kits, i'll try and find out the information for you now.
  19. Im not sure if he's allowed - he definately isnt allowed to come out and walk across the podium thing... Or so says Motson.

    New Kit

I like that, not too much white on it either.
  24. The topic is a bit misleading though.
  25. Hamann quits German team Germany midfielder Dietmar Hamann has announced his retirement from international football. Hamann was not included in the hosts' squad for next month's World Cup finals, although the Liverpool man was not expecting to be picked. The 32-year-old has now decided to call it a day with the national team to concentrate on his club career. "It's not really a big surprise to me I wasn't in the squad," Hamann told Liverpool's official website. "I haven't spoken to the manager for the last three months so I didn't think there was much chance of me being included. "That's it for me now at international level. I'm 32 now and this would have been my last tournament. "I'm not any more disappointed because the tournament is in Germany than had it been anywhere else. I enjoyed it in Japan and France as much as I could have done anywhere. "Now I'll just be watching the World Cup on television although I'll go to Munich for the first match." Hamann made 59 appearances for Germany and scored on his debut against South Africa in November 1997. He also scored the last goal at the old Wembley Stadium and was part of the Germany team which lost to Brazil in the 2002 World Cup final. His last appearance for Germany was against Holland last August and he gradually slipped out of coach Jurgen Klinsmann's World Cup plans. Clicky Clicky
