Puyol is fast. Pique is hardly a big static lump. Mascherano has been moved to CB to replace puyol.

There's another lucas as well, Lucas Piazon, who's supposed to be quite the dogs danglies. Oh and of course Luk(as) Chadwick.

What I think is amazing about him is that he can take the ball without slowing the game. The only other current player I'm aware of who can do this is busquets. I'd rather have Lucas tho. I reckon he can start growing his hair back now. If he wants.

He also made it look quite simple. Like he knew the ball was going there the whole time.

Llorente was quoted at £45 million IIRC. Not sure he wanted to come here, but he was definitely considered according to those who know these things.

I thought our midfield weren't great last night, didn't control the game, kept losing the ball. Think we're passing too quickly for our clumsier players to be able to control correctly. This, speo remains a useful player, but not a great one.

Really great podcast, I've been keen on a podcast that wasn't filled with snide g*******s.
