Agreed. Ribery is more of the kind we need. Pedersen is another decent, not top class player. I wouldn't want him at LFC. Too weak, static, not pacy, no dribbler. In short, not what we are looking for. Great crosses, freekicks etc, and scored some goals. He is more of a beckham type though...or Gonzalez without the pace. -
IF Ronny is on the end of one of those he will keep rolling until he lands in the Mersey.

I don't think it is a laugh. Both Owen and Gerrard have acted in ways that tainted their reputation as men in my eyes. Still, no one is without fault, and they are fantastic players. I just trust them a bit less. But moot points now I guess, as Gerrard will stay and Owen doesn't look like returning.

And who would protect our defence then, when both SG and Momo are running about? They both lack positional dicipline.

Someone in this thread must be wearing Momos googles. Momo is a physical wonder of an enforcer and destroyer. Xabi is an intelligent and hard working playmaker. I know what I prefer. Actually, on this seasons form Alonso would rank above both SG and Momo.
