  1. Aye its mad isnt it
  2. 1. Masch 2. Kuyt 3. Skrtel/Gerrard
  3. Both he and Torres have put some great crosses in this season, perhaps they could work with Pennant to improve his technique
  4. I didn't know him but 40 is just too young RIP
  5. Aye but we're on a poor run and have very low confidence. Its sensible to go back to basics ie firstly ensure you dont concede, especially from a set piece.
  6. If (and I sincerely hope it isnt so) Carragher and Gerrard are feeding Bascombe s*** about Rafa and the club they should leave.
  7. Carra obviously played RB as insurance for Skrtel who had a shocking debut aginst Havant. The lad has to get experience somehow and playing alongside Sammi and Carra obviously worked as he had a much stronger 2nd game. Granted though Lucas left midfield is very baffling.

    Sack Him Now!

Masch will be one of the best players in the world in his position in the not too distant future. - More than that though he has guts, determination and a never say die attitude, qualities which are particularly relevant in our present predicament and for that he should be the first name on the team sheet atm
  9. "Meanwhile, contrary to reports elsewhere, the deal to complete Javier Mascherano's permanent move to Liverpool has yet to be finalised." From the Offal
  10. There are some players that I would not expect self motivated commitment from - for example players like Crouch who are not playing regularly. There are other players though who the manager has put a lot of faith in (whether they like him personally or not) who should be expected to put 100% shifts in regardless of any feelings of frustration
  11. I agree with beejay, despite everything it is only Rafa who is remaining consistent, be it tactics, team selection or even after match interviews. It is the owners, the players and especially the fans that are swaying wildly at the moment.
  12. Thats nonsense IMO. He most definately has improved and as far as our current wingers go, he is our most effective.
  13. It would have bee OK if we hadnt already seen the new one
  14. Its often said that you get to know a lot about a player when the chips are down and things arent going too well - isnt it interesting then that Masch has been our MOM on more occasions than any other player over the last few months.
  15. Pennant wasnt poor at all. Crouch didnt do himself any favours though, nor did Finnan
  16. 1. Yossi 2. Pennant 3. Lucas/Masch
  17. In fairness we were pretty rubbish in the first half, the second half was a different matter.
  18. Kop90 the owners WANTED to put the entire refinanced debt onto the club despite saying they wouldnt do a Glazier when they first took over. We dont really know why they didnt in the end but many suspect it was the intervention of Moores and Parry plus fan disquiet that swung it. Personally I think they refinanced as they did becase they stand to make more money from DIC in any takeover that may or may not be going through as we speak.
  19. Boohog in your opinion would we be better off financially sticking with the Americans or going with DIC?
  20. Perhaps you should try Morocco in July?
  21. Good grief Kev, are you Elisha in disguise or summat, going all cryptic on us? Go on, you know you want to spill the beans I can tell....
  22. Haha you're as subtle as a fart in an elevator. Still I feel a tad happier so ta for that.
  23. Like the bit about possible fan boycott of RBS, who said we cant make a difference (fingers, toes crossed)
  24. Agree with that. We need to take the next step forward but f***ing cant because of the t***s in USA
  25. Don't agree with your last bit, as a nearly ever present Torres has been fairly poor the last 4 games
