As soon as they went down to 10 men I said F*** f*** f*** to myself. I've seen Arsenal down to 10 about half a dozen times in the last few years and if memory serves they've managed to get a result out of all of them. Fair play to the Arsenal players and supporters for making the last half hour so uncomfortable for us, they adopted a siege mentality to perfection and if truth be told I'm relieved to have come away with a point.

Dont know if it was Rafa necessarily being stubborn but I think he made the wrong sub choices today. I love Kuyt to bits but he was having one of his topsy/turvy days and should have been off after 60, either for Keane or Babel.

Pennant has gone worse in people's minds since he's not been playing, unlike Crouch who at the time seemed to get much better. Jermaine should definately have played tonight (and this is not hindsight)

That first half felt similar to the first half against Atletico, there for the taking but we just didnt go for it - too much tip tap tapping. I'm miserable but it isnt the end of the world - I just hope we've learnt from the experience.

Arsenal proved last season that you cant expect to play your best team week in, week out and still maintain a serious challenge - Fabregas in particular was f***ed towards the end. The fact that we had to work so hard on Sunday to get a result almost certainly necessitated change tonight, perhaps we should have done more of it after United??

He's been class thus far and is showing immaculate professionalism after the way he was treated by Rafa - the question is, will he still want to continue or will he seek to leave during the next transfer window or at the end of the season? NB I admit I wanted Barry over Alonso but fair play to the lad he's proved his critics wrong so far and is almost back to where he was in his first season
