  1. Yellow card of the season
  2. Yeah that's brilliant, he nailed it
  3. Yeah I'll be sad to see Joe go what a fantastic servant he's been, a top class defender. I guess if he does leave it means we've got Guehi and completely smashed this window
  4. I still think they'll hoover up points off the lower/mid table teams and be challengers. Eze and Madueke both very good, Zubi probably start to control things too. Great depth in their squad now but it's just the managers weird anxious intensity holding them back
  5. There's definitely something about their conditioning program, they get a lot of injuries... if you're a Gooner it's unforgivable if he played Saliba on an injury yesterday. Taking chances like that yet shirking the actual football gambles you need to make to win a game is cowardly Whoever said Arteta's more and more turning into Mourinho lite was spot on
  6. Wow, looks like I picked the wrong day to get an early night! This is amazing, I've wanted us to act like this in the transfer market for years.. just go and get the best striker in the league And Wirtz, and possibly Palaces captain by the end of the day, and we still haven't spent as much as Arsenal
  7. Reckon its gonna be another play for set pieces tactical masterplan from Arteta
  8. Yeah it'll be all about how to spin the fee to their fans so it looks like they played hardball
  9. Ah right, that's good
  10. So that's the situation we're in if we keep Elliott ? Yeah, pretty annoying ...but if we got someone like Rodrygo for example (unlikely I know) it would surely be worth sacrificing Leoni or Pesci
  11. Yeah agree, I love him but if Elliott goes we absolutely need another attacker who, in Slots eyes, is better for his system ie a player who can challenge for a starting place
  12. I know Guehi is a shortarse but apparently he's a grate cheddar of the ball
  13. Yeah thats fair, it was his Anfield debut v Palace
  14. Nunez would've got into it with Guimares and got himself sent off 30 seconds after coming on (sorry Tomo)
  15. He's a great kid https://www.instagram.com/reel/DNz9g1YUPpu/?igsh=MTdwOXRvNW90ZGwweA==
  16. Bradley did half an hour last night, looked bit rusty but I reckon he starts v Arsenal
  17. Yeah that's what we can do, and was what Newcastle decided to try and disrupt with their drunken blitzkrieg tactics
  18. Its all based on the 2 Keegan games from 30 years ago, Newcastle mythbuilding in defeat
  19. Love this guy. Can't beat a striker who scores
  20. It's gonna be much the same again from Arsenal except with more finesse on the ball,..they'll be diving and playing for set pieces. We really need MacAllister back
  21. True, he couldn't deal with Saka in that game. Still I'd back him to start and bring some stability to the back 4 particularly while Konate is all over the shop and Kerkez looks green Plus Saka most likely out
  22. The narrative is complete bulls*** isn't it? Newcastle were unlucky cos they tried really hard and were all passionate and that, and Liverpool are actually crap and spawned the win In reality they steamed into that with zero control, Gordon flying about like Taz, Tonali with his dramatic efforts to even the numbers ends up f***ing his shoulder and adding most of those 11 mins added time. If they'd made an honest and controlled fist of it they could have taken advantage of the fact that we're a squad in transition with key positions not yet locked in .. but no, they're f***ing idiots and Howe is a spoofer
  23. Robbos experience would make up for the loss of a yard, especially against the top sides
