I've been to enough NHL arenas (including a box at MSG) to see it. Middle tier sucks the life out of the atmosphere. You've got the really expensive lower bowl, the corporate box tier (or two tiers if you're in Philly) then the real fans up in the top level. You want to integrate the corporate tickets into the proper seating - not make them stand out. You might get away with it in a new "Anfield" if you have three stands with a middle layer of boxes and a massive 1 tier Kop - anything else would be a disaster for the atmosphere
