I'd say he went for the ball and didn't see Sisqo go for it with the head. Fair enough. Just hope Sisqo is back soon as he seemed to be having a good game so far. Things can only get better for the home tie :thumb:

Boring game, although a 0-1 isn't impossible to get back from. Great freekick move by Benfica as the defence was taken by surprise. I can't recall seeing Rafa so pissed as he looked after the goal came, I am glad I'm not the one he'll be looking at in the dressing room. The good thing is that Liverpool have to attack at Anfield from the go, gonna be a much more interesting setting for that game than this.

Houllier did well to acquire Markus Babbel back then and even if he started poorly in the red shirt he certainly did well during the season. I'd go for Babbel because he was solid defensively and he scored many goals for a back. Steve Finnan has grown immensely in my eyes though.

Eheheheh, Arsene Wenger never sees when one of his own players does a nasty tackle and they used to do that a lot in the championship-winning era of some years ago. Not saying that they don't do it now (obviously...), but what goes around comes around
