I once had a chat with Peter Duncan and he had no idea what I meant when I asked him to "spare me the madness!". Like, he had no idea. I knew he'd be there. A mate of mine was in a play with him. I joked (not really!!!) with him how frustrated I was that I hadn't brought my Flash Gordon DVD with me for him to sign. It was like he wasn't even in it. What an actor. I didn't buy him a drink. His loss. I do look at that DVD when I see it though and think what it could have been.
