Yeah, not taking the same dim view of other places because of other things doesn't make taking a dim view of Saudi over this specific thing a perfectly correct stance to take. I've got no problem with Henderson going there though. If he can justify it to himself, that's fair enough. I do have a problem with some of the criticism. The faux expectation that Henderson has to be a purely moral actor in order to attack him isn't support for LGBTQ+ rights. It's just spite. Some of it is justified as it's not coming from that place, eg Hitzlsperger, but most of it is just partisan football bile.

Anyone getting on this Henderson is **** now on their socials who hasn't supported him with his LGBTQ+ stuff has little right do so and comes across as just being anti-Liverpool. There's a lot of it about.

Well watched a few YouTube highlight vids of lavia this afternoon and thought I’m not saying he’s now my favourite player. I like him. He doesn’t like it up him. Like we gave it to him in the last game. He’s odd in that his best is in close quarters but he needs room to work out where to be. he’s got a good range of passing, whatever the stats say. And he’s mostly progressive. also watched Southampton’s friendly tonight. he’s very expressive and likes to encourage others. only problem is that his head goes down and his leadership disappears. All about him.

Yeah, there's a few at Palace who are ripe. Eze, Olise, Doucere. Lerma. I'm, not saying of them are ideal, but they were all good last season and were better than ours for periods whilst we played them. All of them are better than the options we have beyond Thiago, Jones, Mac and Solozabal. and then there's Guehi. We could do worse than a 2 for 1.

Yeah, that's why I think he'll go and won't really have too many problems taking a lower %age of the fee/wages package. His other choice is to miss out on the best part of £100m and have to hang around looking a bit of a ***.
