    WOLVES 24/09

\With you on this. We are good in patches but lack the killer instinct and don't maintain pressure for long periods. While this lasts (maybe those days are behind us now SG's back?), the opposition will always be encouraged to think they can get something out of the game.

    WOLVES 24/09

Not my way of seeing it at all. Our attacking play was okay at best (as Lucas has been since playing for LFC, funnily enough) and as mediocre as Wolves are, they were allowed to dominate for long periods of the second half. This wasn't an isolated example either. Our first game of the season was the same and we came away from the table already adrift of the big players. Yesterday we were lucky in the first goal and lucky Skrtel remained on the pitch. Oh boy, is he woeful. He's a volatile red card waiting to happen. He's off the pace and makes up for it by pushing the envelope knowing the ref will be reluctant to flash the red to him at Anfield. And we could not have won by anything resembling a cricket score I thought we were lucky to not concede a second and if anyone was unfortunate, it was Wolves. End of mine.

  7. Eeeh, nostalgia isn't what it used to be but who remembers Liverpool paying an eye-watering fee at the time for Emile Heskey and thought, 'ooh, he's good, him' but then realised investing in hope like that is a bit foolish?
  8. There's no dial Emma; don't play him. Simple.
  9. Oh, the guts for neither. Totally expected from you.
  10. I'll take an apology from you. Or you'll substantiate the filth you've just accused me of. Which is it to be?
  11. This http://www.sporcle.com/games/tobinw/100_shook_the_kop will drive you maaaaad. You think you've got a good knowledge of the famousest (is that a word? It is now) players to wear the Liver Bird on their chest? Well beat yourself up when you run out of time and the names you didn't get come up. You'll be going 'How the hecky pecky did I forget him?' And be honest, how many did you really get? I'll admit that the most famous one I didn't get was Terry McDermott! So let's own up; who was the first name you missed out on?

  14. I'm always prepared to believe in someone's redemption and had thought Barton had put all the bad-boy off-pitch stuff behind him and maybe he has. The cry-baby w***etry out of him ON THE PITCH really dragged football down and illustrated perfectly how there are few sanctions brought to bear against soft-bellies like that. The running up and down like a five-year-old spoilt girly on Saturday though saw him descend to a new level of contemptibility. He's invented a new category of despise, in which I hold him. What an example to set to kids watching that; you can get away with falling to the ground if someone brushes your face and you can treat the public with total disdain by behaving like a t***.
  15. A week is a long time in football. Since then, he's dropped faster than the FTSE in my estimation. Che tunt.
  16. The way he ran up to the referee clapping his hands and then dancing off like a spoilt brat to the lino was a further illustration of what a pathetically laughable waste of time he is. He's digging his hole ever deeper, the blight on football stitshane.

  18. I hope we can rest Lucas. For the rest of the season.
  19. Foo I duck.
  20. What have I said (written)? I feel I've been duped. He brings FOOTBALL into disrepute by going down like a big girl\s blouse and there is NO excuse for such pathetic, tantrummy behaviour. When incidents like this fail to attract total condemnation, the sport stands shamed against other, far more corinthian sports. The wig banker.
  21. Let's hope we don't bring Radcliffe on.
  22. Overprivileged! A footballer, overprivileged? What ARE the odds on that ever occurring? And I still would. He's a Scouser so that entitles him to certain inalienable privileges in my bwukkkk.
  23. Right shoad of light today that was. First half of the first half warmed the very co ckles of my heart and we looked absolutely fantastic. Really, really good but, as often the case in the not too distant past, we failed to capitalise on our superiority and put the game to bed. After the first half of the first half, the highlight of the remainder of the game was Meirles's haircut.
  24. 1st. That's most definitely realistic and something we'd be foolish not to actually aim for. And I think we can win it. Stranger things have happened. I'm not going in to specifics like 'no Europe' etc..I just think we can win the title this season. Me.
  25. I like him. I'd actually like to see him playing for Liverpool.
