Be fair mate; thats so old its got a Riise goal on it. Xabi is a fantastic player, but Masch wouldn't have let that Barnsley player practicaly walk in a circle around him at the edge of the box, like Xabi did last week for their goal. He's a world class talent, but I've wondered for a long time whether his heart is still in it here. If it is and he refinds his best form, of course I'd love him to stay.

Because they know Krusty is thoroughly incompetent and the sooner someone picks his brains of all he knows about the club the sooner they can get rid of the c***. If she can be on site tomorrow morning, I'm not sure what she will do for the rest of the afternoon though. Wonder if she fancies a few pints in the Swan on Wood Street ?

Agree with this. Everything DIC do is based around excellence and being the best in the world. They aren't going to scrimp on a few hundred million, let alone 10 or 20, if it would hurt this aspect of their reputation. They would want excellence throughout the organisation, including the playing staff. I remain unconvinced Hicks will sell. I hope I'm wrong.

Despite a few folks saying the ref was harsh sending off Materazzi, even though he committed a series of fouls in plain view, I thought Chivu was very lucky not to be sent off. How good are their back up defenders ? Samuel is out too, isn't he ?

Just had a thought, if Hicks is in Dubai could someone not pop over and plant a few spliffs in his luggage at the airport ?

Would you feel the same if Reina, Torres and Masch left, if Rafa got the sack ? I think thats possible.

Yeah, thats definitely possible and I hope its true. I've been saying this for months, so my feeling about Stevie is based on the past months, not last nights interview. My worry is based on CTR's post, as he has very good contacts at the club and a good track record. Like I say, I really hope there is no bad feeling between Stevie and Rafa. We have the best spine of players in nearly 20 years with Pepe, Stevie, Masch and Torres. I would be gutted to lose any of them.

No, Stevie said the players and the people upstairs. As I said, I could be reading it wrong, but Stevie has consistently refused to back the manager and has had a series of chances, while a series of players have made clear publically they do back him - Reina, Torres, Masch and even Riise, for example. Its clear Reina, Torres and Masch back Rafa, how many more influential players are there at the club who you would give a s*** about if they left ? Those three, Stevie and Carra are the spine of the team. Only others I would be hugely arsed about leaving are Babel and Lucas. If Rafa goes it could easily lead to us losing Reina, Torres and Masch; what a body blow that would be.

In the after game interviews Stevie couldn't have done less to back Rafa. Interviewer asked him about how the game would be good for Rafa who is under danger of losing his job. Stevie said nowt about rafa, instead saying its good for all of us, the players and the people upstairs (took that to mean the owners). Carra got the same question and talked about how much be owed to Rafa and how much Rafa had improved him as a player. I might be reading into it something that isn't there, but it really struck me how Stevie shrugged off Rafa. Hope I'm wrong. If Stevie really is the captain we need I hope he is and does give 100% backing to whoever our manager is and realises the club is bigger than him.

As ever we got a story Parry planted in the press. DIC later made public some of their side of what happened, stopped short of criticising anyone and wished the club, the owners and the fans good luck. Does it never strike anyone that every time theres been a f*** up at the club, be it transfers, the sale, ticketing or anything else under Parrys remit, a story appears in the press, from out of nowhere and with insider knowledge, blaming everyone but Parry himself ?

This is all true; can't see why people are disagreeing or slagging it off. Moores delegated everything to Krusty and Krusty has failed miserably across the board. A number of folk have been saying this about Moores and Parry for years; what more proof do we need than the state of the club now and the actions of the owners over the last year ? I don't see how anyone can stick up for either of them with regards to their competence. Our club is going down the swanny, lining Hicks pockets for years to come and we're all squabbling about whether Rafa can win the league, whether there is a messiah around the corner or if Mourihno is a decent chap. The only thing that will make hicks think twice, which is boycotts; thats not going to happen. He owns us lock, stock, barrel, heart and soul. Cheers Krusty; do your best to get rid of the American c*** then f*** off.
