Please say why they aren't the same. It seems to me a player going to Chelsea or to anyone else goes because he backs himself to do well and get into the team, and primarily because of money. Why would that be any different to Spence coming here?

I think the hope seems to be Nyoni coming through so yes, one in if anyone leaves. We have so much to do elsewhere to tinker with midfield unless we have to.

Now that you mention Milner, I wouldn't be surprised to see Alonso try to recruit him. He seems to be recruiting based on vibes alone right now.

Nothing wrong with getting in someone like Tomori to help out, he's experienced in a position where we have quality and potential but we're short on bodies. Fee dependent obviously.
