to the thread starter, yes possibly, unless there was an injury. I had hoped for Agger all week because if any game was to highlight Sami's lack of pace it would be today. Sami for the first goal was in no man's land - i know Zenden was fingered as the culprit for letting Fabregas go, but Sami was originally in that general area and stepped forward leaving a huge chasm. Other times he was lost between the fullback position and his own. He's been a fantastic servant and could still play 20 games from now til May, but it's time for new blood and unlike in the past we actually have the player to do the job in his place.

Am not sure what's in it for Dubai to be honest - football clubs aren't really money trees, as we all know. Can anyone explain in simple terms where and how they would make their money and how it would benefit the supporters? This is about 3000 people travelling 40 miles to put themselves and other people in danger of something very nasty escalating into something very tragic. although i wasn't there, i have been to OT a few times so i understand how people can reach that 'snapping' point, quite easily... If sensible men and women are seemingly goaded into despicable behaviour we need a rethink. Perhaps the time has come to ban away fans at this fixture, home and away. I'm 39 and have a family now so i have stopped myself from going to Goodison & OT, because i don't like the people there and how they make me feel and behave. If there are still people who can't/won't exercise that form of veto, then it should be done for them IMO. Otherwise this is only gonna much get worse.

They f*ckin well know what he can do, o what's the point of a loan? We'd be better off keeping him on the bench here than loaning him out. They'd expect most of his wages paying as well. No more loans, we've already got a full team playing elsewhere.

Do you think clubs like Chelsea would adhere to a wage cap? This is the club who got away with doubling the bonus for reaching the CL semi contrary to the original agreement. Payments would just go under the table.
