I think we have to keep one of them at least, until the end of the window. We can't start a summer window without a Dof, deals will already be in progress, a new man would have to start again. But sack him as soon as the window ends.

Just have to hope there's a disconnect between the club's (Edwards & Hughes) briefings and intentions, and FSG. There is a scenario where this is the "local" (UK at least) people fighting for their man but the owners aren't having him. Fingers crossed.

Agree with this, I'd see him as the Gomez replacement rather then the Konate replacement. Good cover for Van Dijk when he needs resting.

Agreed, our inverted wingers have failed to do that this season, its killed us. That and Isak never being fit obv.

He was happy with what we offered him last summer until we blew the deal by trying to be smart and forcing Palace to take a haircut. If we wanted him we should've agreed a feel in July. Wages weren't an issue then.
