  1. I think to a certain extent it is, although to say you can't get tickets without is nonsense. I am an OOT and no one i know supports Liverpool so I tend to go to games on my own (sniff). I don't have a ST or PTS so rely on postal and ringing up on general sale. I can probably get tickets to about 60/70% of games that way and although i have tried the various ticket exchanges on here, TLW, RAWK etc its only ever worked out once. Oh and once when Johngibo's mate had a ticket, but he advertised it for the wrong match Certainly helps if you have a network of mates/contacts you can get tickets off.
  2. God I hope not - he's shocking.

  4. Funny as it might seem in view of the Babel debate with regard to having his shooting "style" reworked, having just read Norman Whiteside's autobiography, these things do happen. Apparently, Whiteside was s*** off a shovel as a youngster but an unfortunate run in with a dodgy physio, put paid to his pace. He had various experts in to try and sort it - including changing his running style - but all the other injuries he had meant none worked. He eventually had to change his running style anyway to compensate for his knee being made of spaghetti. Reading it as a Northern Ireland supporter btw!
  5. Think Alonso will get a rest - has he played all our games so far?
  6. Is that an OS thing as I don't remember submitting ID beyond the credit card details that the £2 for the fan card was coming off.

    torres

Fernando Torres is faster than superman on speed. There's a video of it on youtube. He actually takes flight for a few short seconds.
  8. Sure we can cope without him if its only Toulouse and Derby, neither of whom are likely to get near the 18 yard line too often.
  9. Pennant Torres Momo
  10. Carra
  11. Made hard work of that, but a win is a win. Torres should have had a hat trick - hopefully he'll finish better in future. He was outstanding apart from the finishing. Pennant was very good again. Hopefully Carra isn't too serious.
  12. That's being reported as the team on TLW - not sure where its from
  13. That's all it is to me now anyway, its where I park for our games.
  14. I like our new aggression but crippling people is not on.
  15. That's payback for Heinze - they will let us have Fletcher.
  16. After (I think it was) Villa away last season Momo and Masch should never be played together.

  20. Not sure why some silly price like £45M would come as a surprise for Kaka
  21. Think its more Trevor Benjamin and Tony Cottee myself.
  22. http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/everto...-name_page.html DAVID MOYES has blasted the “irresponsible” spending of some Premier League clubs that is hampering his chances of bolstering Everton’s squad this summer. The Goodison manager has made only one significant foray into the transfer market so far with last week’s £4million capture of Phil Jagielka from Sheffield United. But Moyes admits the amount of cash being splashed by many of Everton’s top-flight rivals is inflating prices and making it difficult for him to afford reinforcements of sufficient quality. Everton were forced to admit defeat in their attempts to sign Jason Koumas earlier this week when West Bromwich Albion accepted a mammoth £5.3m offer for the Wales midfielder from Wigan Athletic, while David Nugent, who had also been tracked by Moyes, left Preston North End for Portsmouth in a £6m deal. And the Everton manager, who is working within tight financial constraints, will not have been enthused by reports yesterday that another Goodison target, Manchester United’s Kieran Richardson, could be the subject of a £5.5m bid from Sunderland. With the likes of Fulham, West Ham United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Manchester City joining Manchester United and Liverpool in spending heavily, Moyes has revealed his frustration at what he believes are artificial prices in the market. “I think there has been some irresponsible buying and spending by some clubs and it makes it a bit more difficult if you’ve got less money to spend than that,” said the Everton manager. “We’d like to add to the squad and I know the supporters are desperate to see new faces coming in, no more so than me, but things out there in the market are tight. “But we are certainly doing everything we can to strengthen the squad and give ourselves a chance. We’ve done it that way for the past few years and we’ll continue to do so. “I’ve been a supporter, in fact I still am a supporter, but we’re always quite cagey here and we don’t give too much away partly because people know that we don’t have the funds to compete at the top end.”
