My friend was another game yesterday and more relevantly at a post match event tbeough her work - got to wish Kenny happy birthday (and speak with Ferguson who was at the same event). A few things: The whole room was talking about Bellingham to us as done as though it was common knowledge- including Ferguson. Another midfielder has agreed a deal but we haven't agreed with their club as yet, she thinks it might be MacAllister from Brighton. Lastly, she was told we approached Casimero after the CL final with an offer but he turned us down based on wages so it didn't get to a formal stage.

I think we'll beat them quite easily. I saw enough of "us" on Monday (against a poor team) to feel we will use that as a base. I also think given their outs and naturally their eyes focused on the Carabao final next weekend, it's a good time to play them.

Just an apology/correction from me, it was an agreement with Dortmund (with a "deposit" being paid) not the player we tried to complete in Jan. Dortmund turned us down. Poorly phrased by me.

I can't comment just passing on. I'm hoping we can make it happen but.....

Latest up-date on a couple of things: Bellingham is still keen on us and we did try and get a pre contract done in January but (and I quote) "our offer was a long way short". We've told the family we will do all we can to make it happen but it really is a matter of paying the money and people close to him are becoming a bit concerned we won't be able or willing to pay the amount. They've also asked about "who else is coming" as he wants to start winning things. Being out of the CL for a season will not be the deal breaker that the media will push. Klopp is our trump card as he wants to play for him but won't let Dortmund down as they've been great with him. Newcastle are pushing hard for him but not confident without CL. Real making a lot of noise but Bellingham's people don't think they are genuine on some of their numbers. City gone a bit cold comms wise but still keen especially if Silva goes to PSG which is likely. PSG have now started to enquire and offered the most wages but the impression my person got is it's a non-starter with them. Lastly, non Bellingham. We asked twice about Gravenbach in January (loan and loan to buy) and it was very close. It was internal politics at Bayern that stopped it very late on.

Today is the start of a great run. I can feel it! I've dragged my lad to it (away end) after the two recent Brighton visits we did in the home end. Going to change.
