Not seen this before - sorry some of us may need to go back into therapy, its the itch that wont go away... Roy Hodgson admits he is “a happy bunny” at unbeaten West Brom after being hounded out of Liverpool. Hodgson lasted just seven months in charge at Anfield after fans turned on him before he was replaced in January by Kenny Dalglish. But ex-Fulham chief Hodgson, 63, has made a quick return to management at West Brom. Albion have taken five points from Hodgson’s three matches since arriving at The Hawthorns to climb out of the drop zone ahead of Arsenal’s visit. Hodgson reflected: “The truthful answer is I am enjoying it more because no-one likes to be in a situation where the work you are doing is not appreciated. “I am in a situation here where it is appreciated though. “This is very much a honey-moon period in the sense we also haven’t had many games. “As a result when you have not had many games people do tend to be happier bunnies. “If we get a result against Arsenal, March will have been a very good month.” Hodgson was booted out of Liverpool after Premier League defeats to Wolves and Blackburn saw the club slide down the table. He added: “We lost two games at Liverpool when we were seventh or eighth in the league which put us down to 12th. “If you get pilloried for losing two games I suppose I was pilloried. “I always knew at Liverpool we would finish in the top six, seven or eight once we got our players back. “My misfortune was we also lost two games at the wrong time. “And my misfortune was to be at a club where the fans made it pretty clear early on they really wanted the manager they have got now. “But that side of it I think I accepted pretty gracefully.” Hodgson also admitted he was surprised Liverpool had crashed out of the Europa League to Braga after saying the Reds dominated both games.
