I cant see how Reebok can win this case. How are they going to quantify lost sales? It's not like they can use previous years as an example, as we had just won the Champions League and the kit that most people wanted was not available until Sept or October anyway. Any delays would have seen an above average peak of sales at time of release when stocks were available.

Quite clearly, I did not say that he would be. I suggested that he would be cover for Finnan and could also cover for Agger and Carragher. It should be noted that Hyppia is now 32 and he wont play forever. Maybe, Rafa believes that Neill could be adequate cover for Agger and Carragher in the long run and Finnan in the short term?

Got the call from the ticket office today. They wont be sending the tickets out until the 10th October, as they are waiting for some inserts to arrive before despatch. Presume this is the stadium and UEFA regulation info. Flying out 17th Oct from Luton, via Easyjet. Arrive at 17.00 Back on 19th Oct. Arrive 16.55

I wouldnt be surprised to see him as a squad player who can cover Finnan, and may also be cover for Agger and Carragher, now that Hyppia is getting on a bit. Not sure if that means no Alves next summer though. If the money is available, I would expect us to go for him.

It was a real shame that Collymore could not live up to his potential. I used to watch him at Southend, when he was there for 8 months. The guys was so talented, it was unbelieveable. He used to run rings around the players at Championship level. He had most of the attributes needed to be a World Class player, except the one that you need the most, which is a strong desire and focus for football. Unfortunately, his illness took its toll and he never performed consistently in the end.
