I'm not his biggest fan, but that is way too harsh.
  4. I didnt think the overall team performance against Everton was that bad (might just be my memory though). There were two horrific defensive mistakes and a dodgy refereeing decison that lost the game. Still managed to hit the post twice and cause a few problems. Whereas the games against Sheff Utd, Bolton, Utd and Arsenal were terrible for a number of reasons.

  6. Agree totally with that. I was really disappointed with the lack of urgency in closing down the opposition, particulary after the first goal. It was evident that the players heads went down. It was also extremely frustrating to see a lack of movement off the ball. The amount of times players had to turn back in possesion was a joke. Nice ground, s*** fans. Highlight of the day was the barmaid at the Compton Arms.
  7. Someone please explain to me the relevance of this player in the England Squad? He is w***. Can never figure out why gets in the squad

  13. I got an email from my mate, who is an Arsenal fan. He said that the Compton Arms is a good choice. Just get there a little earlier and advised to stay away from Holloway Road, but thats a little obvious anyway

  15. Thanks for including me in the old bit. This is ok with me too. What time are we aiming to get there?
  16. I am quite happy to meet wherever everyone else is on Sunday. Not a problem for me
  17. Fair enough. I wasn't suggesting that it was all who travel with them.
  18. Its understandable that you wouldnt want to expose your lads to it, but unfortunately, these things still go on. Not sure what you can do about it though. Either you collectively tackle it head on, or you inform the authorities. One has a physical risk and the other may not be effective anyway. Strangely enough, I saw a couple of these lads over in Anderlecht. Now, I didnt know they were part of the Happy Als lot at the time, but they were on the same flight as me and we got chatting. Seemed like nice, polite lads. Saw them later, outside the stadium, singing some absolute s**** about Liverpool being white, etc. I was pretty shocked. One of them even said hello to me. It was only after Lisbon and the Arsenal game that I found out they had become quite notorious for it.
  19. Are you sure it would be a good thing? He has a very bad reputation for causing trouble and has hardly been playing for Madrid.
  20. Up to the individual on that one, but there is no way I'm going to let some ignorant, thick c*** stop me going to the game. I've heard racist shouts and chanting at games before, and although its left me feeling uncomfortable, I would never let them force me out. Otherwise they have won.

  23. Five man midfield for me. Pennant Gerrard Alonso Zenden Garcia Crouch upfront. Have to win the midfield battle before we can do anything else. Crouch the outlet ball to allow Garcia, Pennant and Gerrard to support.
  24. Friends and teammates often play hard in games. Gerrard on Hamman in Euro 2000 is an example. He absolutely leathered him, fair or not. I suggested that it was unlikely, based on the information that I had, that he would have made that comment. Its not impossible, just less likely.
  25. Fair enough, I'm sure it does happen. Just not sure it happened in this case. I watched the game and thought they were all pissed off him because he shoved his forearm into King's face. This happened when they were jostling for position and then Terry grabbed Kings shirt and pulled him to the ground. King reacted angrily while he was on getting up off the floor and the other Tottenham players reacted to that.
