Ive no idea, as you say its guesswork. I dont think its a gauge because of their relative starting points. Ox seems to be a slow healer and then takes him a while to get up to speed. I dont think he would have been on the bench if it wasnt for our problems which is why he hadnt been introduced

Ox has been good for us. The others less but I dont really count Shaq as an out and out midfielder. We'll have Thiago back soon and we will be looking good again

Thats not the way they have played this season. Kane drops deep like Firmino and then plays in Son who angles his runs in like Salah used to do between the CH and FB.

I dont think anyone doubts it. He has to adapt to the culture, country, physicality, etc. Its not easy when you dont know the language either. Normally it can take players up to 6 months to gel into our style of football and this lad came here, had two months and then we closed down due to Covid. He's had no proper pre-season and we barely train due to the number of games we are playing. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt because I see some decent attributes and think its way too early for him to be written off just yet

He didnt play like a headless chicken. He was decent yesterday. Enabled us to keep the ball better, was always available for the pass and worked hard to boot. Considering the s***show that proceeded him coming on, his performance should be taken as a relative positive
