    His goal tonight was very similar to the one Mac Allister scored against them in the league last season. I wonder if that’s a situation we identified as something to create and exploit.

    And our attacking players can't score or assist every match (as much as we might want them too). But as long as they contribute across the match (and it looks like Gakpo did tonight) then that helps the whole team.

    Similar to the Marseille, Qarabag, and first 20 minutes of Bournemouth - if this sort of setup and attacking play was ‘the plan’ with the summer transfers then I’m onboard with it. Need to keep doing this and not shooting ourselves in the feet.
