  1. Yes he was an example of good wool.
  2. Did the four of them often play at the same time? I don’t remember but I assumed it was usually three from four.
  3. They were from Liverpool so that rather undermines me doesn’t it? Ffs
  4. I don’t like trifle but it’s a good shout. What about English folk music, all that stuff that Dylan got into?

  6. You can maybe define wool as places that could be in Liverpool’s sphere of influence but don’t want to give up a Manchester connection. Andy Burnham embodies this. There’s also a much wider, state of mind definition. Like New York is scouse but Florida is definitely wool. We’ve been down that road before though and it ends up being good things = scouse and bad things = wool which i think is wrong.
  7. Only if we want to weaken our claim on the Beatles. So no. It’s posh Scouse.
  8. I don’t know that area at all but I’m in favour of Liverpool having beaches.
  9. I do think that Liverpool was wool until the immigrants arrived yes. Anyway at least we all know to put the silent K in Kirkby and leave it out of West Kirby. They’re the biggest red flags of all.
  10. I know what you mean but I think it’s quite general to north Liverpool. But I’m a Kirkby child, and then Knowsley, before moving to Wavertree in my teens. So I’m not a purple bin native and I’m obviously fearful for my own position.
  11. Will suggest this one to the committee.

  13. I knew you wouldn’t get it. Read your own posts. Calm down a little bit, think before you post, stop bashing the keyboard with your fists, then you might stop looking like quite such a goon and at the very least you will reduce the typos.
  14. It’s generous but at least they draw the line before Hightown.
  15. For me, it’s: Crosby is in but Little Crosby is out. Sefton in, Maghull out. Aintree in, Melling out. Kirkby in, Knowsley in — but the woods / fields around them (and the Safari Park) are out. Cantril Farm in, Prescot out. Huyton in, Whiston out. Hale Bank in, Widnes out. Obviously anything over the water is out.
  16. Kirkby is also outside the M57 though. It even had a ski slope pointing at the motorway.
  17. St Helens is a WA situation. Undeniably wool.
  18. That’s harsh on Knowsley. Maybe fair. I don’t think we can be calling Thommo a wool for example.
  19. It means I’m throwing it back to you as AS (anti-scouse). I have no problem criticising Scouse players, and I do - but I’m pro-Scouse and I don’t apologise for that. Having Scouse players in the team is necessary for the people of Liverpool but that doesn’t mean I agree in any shape or form with Rickie Lambert.
  20. Back once again With the wool behaviour
  21. He was defo waiting for Madrid. And if he had come to us, he’d have left us if Madrid came calling. But I doubt he’ll want to go there again.
  22. Another plus to bringing Alonso in now: he’s done the Madrid thing so we don’t have to worry about him leaving us for them (again) if he does well here.
  23. But Alonso had great success with it, it’s not s*** under all circumstances. Amorim sticking with it when it blatantly wasn’t working was ridiculous, but finding that funny is completely different from being against a back 3 regardless.
