Been injured hasn’t he? He’s not fully fit anyway
-
I think we’d actually have to go down for this lot to admit they’ve got it wrong and replace him
-
Don’t think it’ll be for much. January would be a terrible time to lose him (anytime will) as replacements which will be really difficult anyway will be near enough impossible.
-
Will they take Gakpo and Konate as well if we pay them a small fee
-
Seedorf is really good. Be nice to see more of him on TV and less of the likes of Carragher and Neville.

Helped that Inter were slower than continental drift, but ultimately can only beat what’s in front of you and we do t do that very often -

Nice to win for once. -
Sees himself as the moral arbiter of all things Liverpool, which is ironic considering his conduct both whilst at the club and afterwards.
-
The personal stuff is contemptible and completely unnecessary. People can disagree with what he’s done without it being as personal as it’s been. There’s no way if he was an England international some of the comments made would have been. He’s never been given the respect he deserves in England, and you have to wonder if there isn’t some xenophobic subtext to the personal attacks with him being an Arabic man from North Africa, who also happens to be a Muslim. Did Wayne Rooney get this sort of vitriol from the press and pundits when he flounced about wanting to go to Manchester City? Disagree with him but show him some respect. Carragher was practically foaming at the mouth with the vitriol, but doesn’t want to discuss spitting at a kid or conspiring to get rid a European cup winning manager.

It’s people not wanting the blame for the worst Liverpool side in memory not being down to the Coach who won the league last season. But ultimately even if it is the coaches, they’re his coaches and he’s ultimately responsible for them, so they either aren’t doing what he wants them to, or he’s weak and can’t control them either of which make it his fault anyway. Unfortunately the truth. Is that the lad who won the league last season has changed things so substantially on the pitch from what worked to the point that we’re completely useless.

Gakpo and Konate guaranteed to start. -
There’s a decent chance sticking with Slot drags us into a relegation battle, and that’s more likely than him pulling off a miracle, getting the players back on side and qualifier the champions league. Nothing we have done this season suggests that’s even the least bit likely. This Manchester United comparison is a load of b******s as well. They are a basket case from the boardroom all the way down, which we aren’t. We are slow, and I think Hughes is a charlatan but other than that we aren’t even the least bit similar. Chelsea have changed their manger repeatedly in the same time period since Manchester United lost Alex Ferguson., and won loads. It’s stick with Slot or go down the Manchester Hnited route, that’s a binary reductionist argument that doesn’t hold water. We’re in a complete mess due to the management of the team and players and it needs changing before we end up in more trouble. a competent manager could install confidence in this team, they could then get top 4, they could get in the FA cup, they could challenge in Europe. sticking with what we have makes no sense because the reality is that what we’ll get is more of the same.
-
It’s bonkers isn’t it imagine this going on under Klopp or Kenny, not a chance? Utter chaos at the club. I’m sure there’ll be another briefing shortly telling us all what an amazing human being and alI round brilliant Director of football Richard Hughes is
-
The improved bit is mad. We’ve beaten West Ham, third from bottom, the scraped a draw with newly promoted Sunderland (who are in transition with 8 new players) thanks to Chiesa’s clearance, then drawn 3-3 with Leeds from being 2-0 up. I suppose it’s not losing 3-0 to Forest and 4-1 to PSV levels of s***. Built hardly utopia either is it?
-
This is it really. Salah is a scapegoat and a distraction from The reality of the situation, we struggle to score, ship loads of goals, and lose most of the games we play and don’t look like there’s any clue on how to stop the rot.
-
Thanks for info, I think ( personal opinion only) that Slot won’t be gone any time soon. Can see him Edwards and Hughes all digging in against the players, and FSG’s complete ignorance about football and glacial approach to taking any sort of action will see a great deal more damage done before he’s gone.
-
I think that pair are as big an issue interns if their inflexibility and refusal to accept artist they are wrong as Slot. Really need all 3 of them gone
-
I think it’s more likely most are on Mo’s side in this rather than be furious.
-
He’s done a pretty amazing job of evolving the team into something completely unrecognisable already
-
Looks like we’ve got to put up with this s*** for the foreseeable future then. Complete waste of time and doesn’t just wreck this season but potentially the next as well . Incompetence and negligence
-
How the f*** has he not been sacked yet? is he made of Teflon? Complete incompetence from his bosses
-
He was the assistant manager to the under 23’s. Richard Hughes sacked him at Bournemouth to get Iraola, so would be an odd one
-
Needs to go tonight and take Richard Hughes and Micheal Edward’s with him
