Miles off. This squad would be winning the league and even European cup under Klopp it Guardiola, even Lego head. Squad is easily good enough it’s the management that is the issue -
Worse than under Hodgson

That’s rubbish -
The longer he stays the more damaging it becomes now. It’s not nice because he’s not completely insufferable like Rodger’s or Hodgson, but he’s out of his depth here, and can’t turn it around. It’s mind boggling what has happened considering we won the league, but we’ve been poor for a long time

This can’t carry on. What needs to happen to make them act? It’s not improving -
Needs to go

He’s transcended the physical form. He now exists only as a higher level being in the form of the funkiest slap bass riff that ever occurred, which continually without interruption transmits all human, polytheistic, and alien knowledge that exists, has ever existed, and will ever exist at exactly 19Hz. No more, no less, just pure clean facts in ultra low frequency infrasound (in Dolby obviously).

Wipe his a***?

Unbelievable to be where we are now having these conversations. Imagine in May, or even the summer months even conceiving the idea we could be this poor, you just wouldn’t. Worse win rate in 2025 than Amorim. It’s crazy

Formations are not what will turn this around. It’s the style of play within the formations. Doesn’t matter if you play 442, 433, 532, 901. Makes no difference if you are asking Konate to stand on the ball, move it slowly, and be completely passive with barely any press. Changing the formation doesn’t make us play any faster, be more clinical, or put pressure on on the ball. It’s what the players are being asked to do that’s a major issue, along with some dreadful form of some individuals, which is being hampered by tactics which are hampering their form.

He’s 14/1 to be the next manager sacked with the bookies. He’s safe, but patience is running out with him

Everything is slow and ponderous, we were never slow under Klopp. Other teams attack with 3 or 4 passes, we take about 40 and get nowhere. We seem to work far harder than anyone else to score, and some of that is opposition tactics, but a lot of it is our own terrible way of playing.
-
Howe and Tindall can f*** off. Howe’s a bluenose b*****d to boot. So he can f*** off and then f*** off again when he gets there
-
I think his style of play probably fits our squad, but his lack of experience at a big club would be a major concern.
-
I’d take somebody who could get the most out of the squad as is possible.

We’ve got one way of playing which has been found out and everyone knows how to counter. We don’t have any variation in our play. We stumbled over the line last season and have been poor since. The squad looks unbalanced, however the bulk of last seasons key players in team is still there. With that basis along with the recruitment, which we all thought we needed (could have done with a midfielder and centre back as well but maybe that was a step too far) we should be doing far better than we are. Even if we aren’t top we should be challenging, we shouldn’t be seeing losing as the norm. The run and volume of losses is completely unacceptable, particularly so when you look at the quality in the squad. It’s not like under Roy Hodgson, Brendan Rodgers, or even the last season of Rafa who had much poorer squads in their final/only seasons. This should in reality be one of the best squads we’ve had since the 1980’s, but the reality is we are performing like we are one of the worst. It’s as bad if not worse than anything Rodger’s produced, it’s even as bad Roy right now. I reckon at least half the managers in the league would be getting a better performance out of this squad. Yesterday was gutless, as it has been in most games.

Chris Kavanagh is a s*** ref from Manchester who used to ref their academy games before becoming a ‘professional’ but we were also f***ing abysmal -

Probably the best squad of players in the league Glasner or Iriola would be going better with this squad. Even David Moyes would be doing a better job -
We were passive. Didn’t threaten them at all

Just don’t see this getting turned arouned. Won the league yes, but got to now wonder how much of that was Klopp momentum. Excuses sounding a lot like Rodgers/ Houlloer etc towards the end. We we league Champions spent the most we ever have and look as bad as we have since Klopp took over. The fact Amorim is better in the calander year is really worrying. its ok to be wrong on recruitment as long as you realise and deal with it rather than be arrogant enough to think you know better than what it flagrantly obviously
-
Not doing a very good job of that is is he ?
-
Can’t see him turning this around. Not sure what his plan is. It’s not getting any better
-
And you actually won the league last season! Amorim has a better record this calendar year
-
Where do we go from here? The tactics are all weird Jurgen where are you now when we need you?
