  3. To that Atletico Madrid forum that was posted on here after the game the other week? Fancy a chuckle at their comments on the game. Much appreciated.

  6. That's been my argument for a long while now, but that doesn't excuse the fact he struggles to pass the ball further than 10 yards and his ability to tackle and break up play is abysmal. His tackling is truly awful.

    Steve Morgan

    This is how I feel.
  8. Hey, I'd support Adolf Hitler if he wore a Red shirt It's like family, they may have their faults, but they're "one of us", and you stand by them.
  9. He's fine when he's passing the ball 5-10 yards, anything over that and he is poor. That's a fact. Every now and again he'll pick out a pearler (Like to Stevie against Newcastle which was one of the passes of the season), but unfortunately it's very rare.
  10. He's not a scapegoat for me, he's simply not good enough full stop, along with several of the first team squad. He'll always have my support though.
  11. It's not. He might be able to get round a pitch quick enough, but he's slow when closing down (hence the number of stupid fouls he gives away), his decision making is slow, and his passing is no better than average, and that's when he's playing at his best.
  12. Huge difference between Brazil and here. Andriy Voronin looks world class in the Bundesliga, but is clearly completely out of his depth over here. But anyway, this is about him being booed, which is totally unacceptable.
  13. He was great in Brazil, but what has that got to do with him playing for us? He's been gash since he arrived, and the amount of times he's played well are still in single figures. However booing him is very very very wrong.

    Lucas

Momo was chased out by the fans? Have to thoroughly disagree. And he was 10 times the player Lucas is, even if he did have 'issues' with the football.
  18. He's probably more suited to the dirty work than Xabi with him being a full back. He's just a kwality footballer.

    Pacheco

Pacheco on the right is a waste, the lad's a proper 'number 10'. Nemeth is pretty similar to Torres already, although not as quick (most aren't though )

    Pacheco

Nemeth and Pacheco are different types of players, don't compare them. I'd echo the thoughts about Pacheco having a fantastic future, but then I'd say that Nemeth looks a superb prospect himself - and is much closer to making the breakthrough than Pacheco because of a few things. namely top flight experience (he'd played first team football for MTK Hungaria before he came here), he's older, and he's more physically developed. What I noticed after Keane was sold, was that Rafa mentioned his name first out of the young lads when talking about back ups and potential replacements from within.
  21. Italy don't travel to Brazil - the game is at the Emirates.
  22. Burley suggested yesterday that Torres needs to play every game and be kept in cotton wool at the same time. I've heard more sense from stoned hamsters. I'm just gutted Sky didn't get all six TV packages. Setanta is truly s***.

    Ryan Babel

Yossi's biggest problem has always been consistency.

  25. A return to his Valencia days when he played in central midfield a few times. He's a technically superb footballer.
