The guardian - or wherever - does appear to have chopped up Rodgers quotes a bit, going by what's in the Echo: However, that doesn't stop what he said from being bollix though, as he continues ... which when coupled with the choice to move Skrtel left and bring in Toure based on us, in fact, not doing well ... (and Rodgers previously saying what a "monster" he is in training) ... frustrates beyond belief ... from here

Officially getting worried about Rodgers now, that's just complete bollix about Sakho. He said this a few months ago on the offal: He's just making it up as he goes along now.

I think he makes more mistakes than is immediately apparent as his positioning and pace are so poor he's often simply not anywhere near the play to influence it. He's also generally unable to stop players that run at him. At the moment though it would be Sakho and A.N.Other for me, it's the Agger-Skrtel mix that has to stop really.

Roughly the same amount of passes in the final third as Hull - we managed to just about match the attacking treat of Hull!

Prefer to have a defender as CB though, Agger is a terrible defender nowadays, his ability on the ball is a luxury we can't always afford

We just dropped two places to fourth this weekend, come Wednesday night we potentially could drop to seventh. Our tenuous hold on second was just that, tenuous.

You don't earn points in training though, we're far enough into the season now to expect something more convincing where it counts.

We've been one match - three points - off eighth spot for most of this season. There were long periods of shocking bad luck in previous seasons, it's easy to see a run of good luck this season sticking us up where we don't really belong. I very much agree with Mike above, without any consistency you have to think there is no plan, and then you wonder is there a point at all to his envelopes and dossiers and what not. Really starting to get nervous now that it's all smoke and mirrors.
