I saw the game and he showed in patches what a good player he is. Defensively he got caught out with the likes of giggs running past him at times (at right back). On that performance not worth anywhere near 12, 10 or 8 Million, it reminds me of the Patrice Evra situation who had rave reviews in France but found the adjustment to the PREM difficult and he was worth around 3 Million. Still it was only one game and he gave the mancs a good kicking.

Wasn't Kuyt quoted as saying that if a team is scouting him now then they don't really know him and its a waste of their efforts............
