  1. Swap with Reina?
  2. I can't see the value of adding someone who hasn't played since September, which will take 2 months to get up to full speed. Seems it would be another Andy Carroll purchase at this point. I would rather we checked on him in the summer to see his status (physical/mental condition and whether he settles in Turkey). Would rather have Ince and lampard, who've both played regularly and in this country.
  3. Wayne (Big) @Gunga_din on Twitter mentioning deal activity, so could be some truth in it.
  4. Now tweeted that Sören Lerby on his way to Liverpool. Obviously leaving much to the imagination.
  5. Branco Roberto Carlos Ruben Sosa
  6. would rather have James Morrison (WBA) than the above.
  7. Was Paul Ince qouted as "his son should only leave Blackpool for first team football"? thought I saw that somewhere,
  8. So that rules out any Lampard move then... He's no Gary McAllister mind you, just seems to have an eye for goal, just what we need at times.
  9. He was Awful, school boy errors and bad decision making when in the last third. Would have preferred debuchy, hope he has a relegation release clause in his contract.
  10. On Twitter, I'll let him know he's needed
  11. If Di Santo looks slightly good at times, that's because teams are willing to give Wigan players lots of space to attack. The trouble is when playing for LFC and teams park their bus those same players then expose their lack of ability. Sturridge has ability he seems just overly-greedy at times(perhaps over trying) and Ba was just a no-brainer for £7 Million regardless of knee concerns.
  12. He'd Probably go to Marsielle.
  13. Downing could then be our new left back - wing back, the find of the season.
  14. Is Man City reportedly buying Sinclair a sign that Johnson is moving on, although you can argue they may play on different sides of the pitch?
  15. Is Torres a bit like Andy Cole, in that it depends on who supplies him? I seem to remeber that at Atletico he use to have Ibagaza as his supplier, then along came Aguero and it didn't quite work as well for him.
  16. Regarding Turan This echo ticker http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-fc/liverpool-fc-news/2010/08/31/trandsfer-deadline-day-live-blog-100252-27166073/ [Comment From folb folb: ] @ beef - i 100% guarantee this news, wait for 2pm release n liverpool website
  17. I'm simply stating that there are other midfielders out there that can be as effective or better for us than Alonso.
  18. Spain won the Euros with Marcos Senna starring, not Alonso. He is replaceable with better.
  19. Din't Rafa ignore him when he was going for free at the same time as we bought Cisse from Auxere?
  20. Dossena just lowered his transfer value or made it more difficult to sell him.

    Dossena

Aurelio can also play in centre midfield. I'm aware that there was a short passing, linking with Gerrard and getting into the box requirement with Barry. I think Aurelio is also good at set pieces.

    Dossena

May be he had a larger shirt on. But seriously, he looks better at left midfield which suits his attack minded ability. Him and Aurelio combined could save us millions on Barry.

    Arteta

A lot of players look good with other teams but I'm afraid when they go to Liverpool, feel the pressure of expectation they are exposed as just another average player now out of their depth, hiding behind the performance of their captain in the hope that he will bail them out.

    Keane

I know the Tottenham Vs Arsenal (down to ten men) Game hasn't finished yet but he seems to have picked up what he left off here in terms of missing. I think I even saw him pop up on the left as well.
  25. Rafa obviously sees something that is worth keeping until the likes of Barry, Silva, Carizola or Lennon become available. As a side point; If Keane was bought for around the 20 Million mark with all his experiences and Babel for around just over half of that then you can see why keane was let go. Babel was bought as another Plan B and that's what he is, a good Plan B; has potential, physical attirbutes but is inconsistent and I don't expect to see him playing on a regular basis. Liverpool's standards are just too high for most players and deservedly so. Until the Money men realise that Plan B's and buys against the manager's wishes aren't worth the 2- 5 million save against success the better.
