  1. He's had a terrible season but he's being hung out to dry by Jurgen's tactics and selections.
  2. Aye, I do feel we’re mirroring Klopps pre match realistic but defeatist comments. There’s no belief. I’d get Firmino on for Jota
  3. He’s picked the team I wanted. Milner needs to be brave and stay compact and central, if Madrid press otherwise Fab will be left isolated on his own. Him and Hendo have a tendency to move out wide to receive the ball when pressed as they don’t have the technical ability to take the ball on the turn under pressure anymore. My head says Madrid beat us tonight but we just need to go out and treat this as a single game to win.
  4. Also, it's a absolute killer that since signing Thiago has not been able to be fully involved in the Madrid games. Injured for both ties this year, 30% fit in the final and not starting either of the ties in 2021.
  5. See Thiago also
  6. ------------ Alisson ------------- Trent - Konate - Van Dijk - Robbo ------- Milner ---- Fabinho ------ --- Salah --- Gakpo ---- Jota --- ----------- Nunez -------------- Subs: Kelleher, Matip, Phillips, Tsimikas, Keita, Ox, Adrian, Firmino, Carvalho, Elliot, Jones, Gomez No point fumbling around to get a 3rd midfielder in, just play a 2 man base and the four forwards with Gakpo dropping deep on Modric/Kroos.
  7. Good news
  8. He's a homegrown star and Chelsea's player of the year two years running, i know the fans have soured on him recently but i can't imagine Chelsea not agreeing to pay him what he want's like they eventually did with Reece James. I have no doubt he's using our interest to secure the contract he wants.
  9. Mount would be my choice out of the two. I can't see Chelsea selling him though.
  10. Late to the party but WHAT A GAME! I've spent most of the day watching every different highlight package i could. Not much more to add but seeing Bobby get that reception and then score the last goal was special.
  11. You would think he's looking at at least a six month ban.
  12. Of course it will. They would be buying part of the club not in to FSG like Redbird did.
  13. You can see why FSG were open to cashing out. We seem to struggle financially however we do on the pitch, if we're crap our revenue drops and we're in the **** and if we do well, our wage bill jumps up massively due to bonuses and we're still in the ****
  14. I think he's been given 2 assists this season but his expected assists is 7.27 so some better finishing and his attacking output would match previous seasons.
  15. Let me elaborate on my initial post. I think everyone can agree his form has been patchy for the best part of the last 18 months and he's far from the biggest issue we have in the team but if we continue to play with 2 high 8's in front of a DM next season than we have to change the way our full backs play. Out of the LB and RB roles, I'd be changing the role of the left back to more of a 3rd centre back who backs up the play and that wouldn't play to Robbo's strengths at all. If as i think Tsimikas goes in the summer, we should be looking at getting proper competition in to complete against Robbo with the idea of phrasing him out the team but like i said, we have far bigger issues to fix in the summer.
  16. If the rest of the team wasn’t such a shambles, you’d be looking to buy a replacement for him this summer. I think his best days are behind him.
  17. That’s an absolute nonsense. His attitude stunk yesterday but his situation reminds me a little of Rashford from last year, we’ve overplayed him, his confidence looks shot and tactically we’ve miss used him this year. the haircut comment is a nonsense as well
  18. Potter needs putting out of his misery. He’s a good coach but he’s out of his depth at Chelsea.
  19. His body language and attitude stinks at the moment. His position is another example of the piss poor squad planning, we signed a inexperienced youngster as his back up after the most intense season of football. We needed to sign proper back up for him last summer.
  20. The result was probably expected but that was still a 2nd half calamity from the coaching team. Watching Madrid cut through that midfield time and time again. Keeping that midfield 3 until the 74th minute 2-5 down? Nunez 1st subbed off, killing any attacking threat. this season will be defined by poor recruitment/squad planning and poor coaching.
  21. I would go for the following team if Jota is fit to start ------------ Alisson -------------- Trent -- Matip -- Gomez -- Robbo -------- Hendo -- Naby --------- --- Salah ----- Jota ---- Gakpo --- ------------ Nunez -------------- Subs: Kelleher, Philips, Tsimikas, Milner, Elliott, Bajectic, Fabinho, Ox, Jones
  22. I think there's big motivation issues with a number of the lads stemming from the end of last season and the summer transfer window to be honest. Which i can understand! After coming so close last year, It's hard to go again when you see the squad getting weaker. Whichever way you look at it we downgraded from Mane to Nunez in the summer and the failure to bring in a top quality midfielder would have sapped the life out of a number of players on the back of dropping points in each of the first three games.
  23. Aye, some of the shouts I'm seeing here are wild!
  24. Mount's a ideal Klopp player, a intelligent and creative grafter who can play in multiple positions. I just don't see him leaving Chelsea.
