  1. Agree but concerning that Virg and Mo have both publicly made comments to get the club to the table to talk.
  2. Solanke on the move to Spurs for club record fee, which is good business for us. We still hold a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
  3. He's really stepped up in the last couple of months. A top player and great prospect.
  4. -------------- Kelleher -------------- Bradley -- Quansah -- Gomez -- Tsimikas --- Mac ----- Endo ------ McConnell ---- Elliott --------- Danns -------- Gakpo Subs: Adrian, Konate, Robbo, VVD, Clark, Szoboslai, Diaz, Nunez, Clark,
  5. It will be a big success if both become reliable squad players like Elliott has
  6. The team i'd play. -------------- Kelleher ------------- -- Gomez -- Matip -- Van Dijk -- Tsimikas -- -- Mac Allister --- Endo --- Jones -- --- Elliott ----- Nunez ---- Gakpo ---- Subs : Adrian, Trent, Quansah, Chambers, Dom, Gravenberch , Jota, Doak, Mo
  7. A strange stick to beat the club with. No smart club pays £70 million for Doucoure.
  8. It's a tricky one, you won't replace what he offers so ideally Gomez suddenly remembers how good he was 3 years ago or you buy a standard right back like Walker-Peters from Southampton.
  9. Disappointing that Timber is on his way to Arsenal, would have been a good option at CB and good cover for Trent. It's gone under the radar but we need proper cover at right back, Bradley is no where ready for Premier League minutes for us.
  10. He's much better than under 21 level and he's playing with the confidence of a man who knows that. Great to see.
  11. I like Lavia's profile and potential but the £50m price tag is ridiculous for a player of his standing and experience. I think we wait this one out as i can't see a world where we pay that for a back up player so early in the transfer window.
  12. Think his situation is similar to Solanke's when he was here. A really talented young player who can be sold at a big profit if he doesn't make the grade. Feel's like this loan is solely to raise his value.
  13. He's a exceptional ball striker, looks to have all the tools to bring a impact similar to the one Fernandes gives at Utd. A decisive player in the final third. A right hand side of Szoboszlai, Trent and Mo looks tasty. You would imagine a deal is close if Ornstein is reporting it.
  14. Don't forget Mac Allister.
  15. He wasn't though and it's fine to say that. Everyone is supporting him and hopes he comes good but he finished the season as 5th choice forward and needs to improve massively next season.
  16. I think that has spooked FSG to be honest.
  17. Not a chance that happens in my opinion. Seems like it's Kone, Thuram, Lavia, Veiga or Gravenberch, all prospects that will need time and patience when we need players who can hit the ground running.
  18. Mac Allister improves us and gets in our team but I don't think any of the other players that have been linked by reliable journalists get in our first 11. For a team that struggled so badly for the majority of last season that's not good enough.
  19. Milner binned England because he was a back up player while Hendo is a key man in the set up. Hendo will go to the Euro's as vice captain, There's no reason for him to retire from international football yet.
  20. The chatGPT song posted on Twitter for Mac Allister is immense by the way. Can't link it for some reason though
  21. £37 million for Gakpo and £35 million for Mac Allister are two outstanding deals following on from last summers disastrous window. We will be in real good health if we can get Thuram and Kone over the line as well. Exciting times.
  22. Top 4 has been gone the moment we got 2 points from City, Chelsea and Arsenal. We just need to keep the wins and momentum going to end the season on a positive note.
  23. We've absolutely ran him into the ground this season because he's been our only competent midfielder. He's played in a midfield where Hendo avoids duels and tackles and Fabinho has rapidly declined. Last season we had the option of rotating Naby with him and saw the best of Thiago. If we sort the midfield in the summer, Thiago can still have a big influence on how we do next season.
  24. Bradley has by all accounts had a great season at Bolton but he's nowhere near good enough or ready to be back up for us yet. He could do with another loan next season but in the Championship. Attacking wise, his numbers are similar to last season in terms of chance creation, it's just no one has been finishing his chances until a week ago.
  25. No chance, I think City have learnt their lesson selling players to rivals in the same division.
