I'm surprised at this really but I reckon it is mostly to do with their track record of bottling/being the bridesmaid rather than an intrinsic dislike of how they play. Like, if they go back to back league titles playing like this I doubt there will be any dissent. But who knows...Wenger definitely changed their sense of who they are and Arteta is absolutely cringe as a character so I can well imagine that loads of them don't feel a deep bond there. They'll still win the league cos City will drop points on the run in for once but, with they play, if they somehow chuck it away then I think the heat Slot is getting from us will look tame in comparison. Either way they'll have to change it up somehow next season. 22 points from their last 11 league games, at the business end of the season, isn't great and smacks a bit of them getting figured out.
