  1. yes but then more often than not gave it away lucas had a mare but alonso is still miles off what he is capable of be nice to have agger and the old alonso back next season, our distribution and passing will improve a great deal when that happens
  2. The hardest player to ever play for Liverpool by some distance was greame souness, he was a f'ckin animal on the pitch Brilliant player, in fact he was better than brilliant he was f'ckin amazing
  3. I agree Henry in the kuyt or babbel role or as cover for torres. He would be absolutely brilliant for us He is still only 30 as well isnt he ? On the way down my backside, your kidding arent yeh. He is f'ckin brilliant
  4. Pair of f'ckin clowns should be banned from the club for life when DIC buy us for gross incompetence An hour on google and they would have found out exactly what Hicks and Gillet do the cluless pair of morons Cant stand the pair of them to be honest, they mismanaged the club for years and saved their last and most catastrophic blunder till last
  5. tell yeh what I would agree with though riise did play very well that is the best he has played for ages and dare I say it I would keep that defence against Arsenal on wednesday
  6. ha ha The curler that deflected off an everton player and went just wide you mean And he did not supply torres with a pass, he made a f'ckin tackle for god sake. It was never a pass Jesus wept
  7. yes but that average is grossly distorted by one season, when we finished 32 points ahead of them when as I said we had a relatively good season in 2005-2006 2004/05 - 3 points behind them 2006/07 - 10 points ahead of them and currently only 5 points ahead of them. In three out of four years we have been far closer to everton than Utd. Look at what everton spend in comparison to Liverpool before moaning about what Utd are spending in comparison to Liverpool
  8. I dont like it when he starts going on about money, comparing what he has spent to Utd and Chelsea What about what he has spent compared to the likes of Everton etc. With the exception of 2005-2006 when we had a relatively good league season the other three seasons have involved us being far closed to everton than to Utd/Chelsea, even finishing behind them once League performance is no way near good enough, it simply isnt. This is his fourth year for god sake. I am not saying he should win it but he has to provide a challenge surely - we are far closer to Everton that utd in terms of league form over a period of four years. This has to improve, it simply has to
  9. Its mad, some of you must have a different definition of 'very good' than what I have Postives - He worked his socks off like he always does and made a couple of good tackles including the one torres scored off. Negatives - He missed three good chances, never got one decent cross in, never created one decent chance with a pass or bit of skill and never beat a man He is playing as right sided forward/winger lads not a f'ckin right back No way near f'ckin good enough and that position is one of the massive differences between us and Utd. Flair and ability out wide we need, kuyts position should be the first one addressed this summer
  10. the mancs are light years ahead of us out wide, both wings and full backs in terms of flair and attacking ability The other thing is we are to negative - look at how arsenal responded to being 2-0 down and having a man sent off, we would have taken torres off and sat back and just tried to keep the score down like we did at old trafford. We do not impose ourselves enough on games
  11. Lucas is a bit lightweight - unless he fills out he will struggle in centre midfield however his performance deteriorated rapidly today after his captain screamed at him and jumped around waving his arms in the air for misplacing a pass back to him, his confidence just fell apart I wonder if ince had done that to the captain when he was 20 in a derby how he would have felt babbel frustrates the hell out of me its no use being skilfull, pacy and strong if your final boor is so poor. he gets about 1 in 5 final balls to a liverpool player

  17. Radio City news at 10am said he is a doubt for the derby after picking up another injury last night
  18. Yes the ref decision was bad But what upsets me just as much is the way we played second half, we did not even have a go Why take babbel off, one of only two players with pace when we where defending so deep and why not take someone like kuyt off instead and put crouch on and let torres and babbel run off his flick ons and pump it from deep if we wanted to sit so deep and defend We give up and where more concerned with not conceding anymore goals
  19. jesus f'ckin wept...... Dont read any of my posts yeh f'ckin half wit, go and annoy someone else you irritating bore. Really not in the mood today for divvys like you.
  20. he did a couple of times and did the full back with a trick I thought he played well and was suprised he was taken off for benayoun, especially as we where playing deep and needed pace for a break stupid f'ckin substition of babbel number 5 of the season it was, what is benayoun going to offer you in a game like that down to ten men sitting deep
  21. Go and watch a replay of yesterdays first half have a close look at the free kicks given against mascerano after he was booked, a close look. None of them where fouls, not one, two but THREE consecutive bad decisions against him. THEN his striker gets kicked everywhere, asks the referee why he is not getting any protection and is f'ckin booked. He approaches the ref, smiles and asks "whats going on". he is not told to go away or he will be sent off, gerrard is not called over and warned that the ref does not want approaching again, he is f'ckin SENT OFF for asking 'whats going on' This was NOT, I repeat was NOT dissent and never will be. The referee was having a f'ckin nightmare and the liverpool players where rightly asking him what the f'ck was going on, as players in every league game the previous day and in the league game later that day where also doing and he SENT him off, the referee did something that has absolutely NO precedent and suprise, suf'ckinprise he did it at old trafford to the visiting team The ref was NOT crowded, NOT swore at, not abused. He is a f'ckin disgrace and that is the second big game out of four now we have had a shocking decision go against us.
  22. With respect mate your talking out of your backside Bennets decisions did affect the result yesterday, that is without question. And i do not just mean him sending off mascerano, the reason the players where all so wound up and lost their discipline was the referee not applying any consistency whatsoever in terms of bookings and free kicks. Go and watch a replay of the first half again, I have I sky+ it. Have a look at the three ridiculous free kicks given against mascerano after his booking. They where never, ever fouls. This after booking him for a tackle exactly the same as one he had just let off paul scholes for. The players lost their discipline due to a f'ckin atrocious referee. Yes, they where the better side before mascerano got sent half but not by much, we started well and looked threatening with babel doing their full back twice and gerrard knocking one over the bar, then wes brown completely missed his header and scored with his back before mascerano was sent off and the game changed. We did not get outfought at all, we got the sh't k,icked out of us with NO protection from the referee and when we complained or responded our players where booked. It was another typical f'ckin referee mare at old trafford, its been happening for years, its no suprise anymore is it. His performance against top clubs is not shocking, again you are talking rubbish, both chelsea and arsenal equalised late this season against us, utd did with one of only two shots on target at anfield, just has they did the season before. Juventus, Ac Milan, Inter Milan, Chelsea (twice), Barcelona etc etc etc have all been beaten and knocked out by benitez's Liverpool in Europe. Utd and Chelsea have also been knocked out of the FA cup when we won it. To suggest we go missing in big games under benitez is knee jerk reactionist b'ollocks Your talking sh'te
  23. Dont let todays result get you down to much We are a far better team than we was when he arrived, far better. I thought we did quite well today till wes brown scored with his back and then the ref and mascerano went banjo. We are going to get them in hmoscow I can feel it in my bones and there is no english ref and not a chance in f'ckin hell god can give them another scabby goal in another game We now have players of genuine quality in the middle of the pitch. It takes time for Liverpool or Arsenal to get to to utd and chelsea's level, they are in a different planet with regards to the money they have spent than us. We can not do it in one or two summers, we do not have the money, same goes for arsenal, neither of us can go and buy three £20-£30 million players in one summer, Utd and chelsea have been doing that for years and it is going to take a bit of time to get up there. We are getting there, the money is being well spent, reina, agger, mascerano, torres. Money well spent, the next phase begins now where we add some class out wide to the spine we already have. We have missed agger desperately this season, him being out has been a huge blow for us, he is the best defender at the club and the one who brings the ball out to. Torres and babbel will get better next season and we should add two or three more. Dont despair
  24. carragher should have been sent off and utd awarded a pen after 12 minutes when he was last man and fouled rooney I have NEVER seen a pair of top class centre backs done by direct high balls over the top of them so many times in my life as I did today The keeper is being blamed for coming for a couple but that is because of the inability of the centre backs to win anything in the air, they also got ripped to bits on the floor on numerous occasions An absolutely abject performance in defence today - worst of the season by a mile
  25. It is the captains job to talk to the ref about decisions, torres had been kicked all over the place repeatadly and asked the ref what the f'ck was going on and was ridiculously booked, gerrard then should have been straight over to the ref asking what the f'ckin hell he was playing at and if there had been a rule change since yesterdays premier league games
