    It’s all on the strikers, really. You go 2, 3, 4 up in these games where they miss so many chances and you completely knock the confidence out of the opposition and it becomes a stroll in the park. They don’t score them and we get what we’ve been getting since Christmas. Oh, and our set pieces are gank again.

    Got rid of Sky Sports and BT Sport recently. Finally came to my senses not to be paying €60 odd a month to be frustrated by shocking officials/VAR officiating that goes against us far more often than it goes for us and at being driven demented listening to Neville, Carragher, McManaman, Alan Smith & Martin Tyler. Taking my chances with dodgy streams and happy with that so far.

    With Fabinho in midfield and Jota back, we can get back on the rails. Everyone from second down really aren’t very good.

    The players who made things happen over the last 3 seasons look completely jaded, mentally and physically- Trent, Robbo, Mane, Firmino & Salah. The tank is empty.

    I don’t know much about Thiago before he joined, but all I’m seeing since he came back from injury is Glenn Whelan.

    It must be 4+ years since we felt so persistently frustrated. Strange feeling. Made worse by who is on top - don’t want to go back to those days.
