  1. OK, but MO didn't seem keen to help the fullback out. Most of their attacks came down our right side, I thought MO was a little workshy in defence leaving both Gomez and Bradley with too much to do. Hope he defends more, when needed, in the next visit to OT.
  2. The right side could be strengthened if Mo tracked back and helped the fullback out. Klopp tells him not to, or so I've read in recent games. Also think we have a better balance in attack with Bradley at fullback.
  3. No idea.
  4. That's not true mate. I once made an obscure joke about Huw Edwards and his sex scandal before his name was made public by the MSM. NE pulled me up for it and deleted my post. I've no complaints, you do need to be alert to possible legal implications if you say the wrong thing on here.
  5. I feel more confident of getting a result there after today, defeat to an inferior team must be a big motivation. Hope Klopp tells Mo to help out in defence and starts Bradley at right back, we have a better balance with him on the flank. Our passing game can't be as bad as the first half and extra time, it was so unlike us.
  6. I'm sue this defeat will be a huge motivation when we play there in the league and a lesson to Klopp; Do not sub Mo when only one goal up unless he's dead.
  7. Good idea. I've just opened a full bottle of voddy, don't need a mixer.
  8. Lets hope so. The league game there can't come soon enough.
  9. Never mind, we'll stuff them in the league game.
  10. Thought Endo and Diaz our better players before the late the goals. Our ball control and passing accuracy was abysmal for the first 30 mins. We'll be ok now tough.
  11. Casemiro has been poor in recent games, his absence will strengthen them. One of Amrabat, Erickson or Mctominay will be his replacement. Can't imagine Mount starting. Fortunately Flathead is fit and is likely to start ahead of Evans. Their suspected team is; Onana Dalot Varane Maguire Wan Bissaka Mctominay Mainoo Fernandes Garnacho Hojlund Rashford
  12. My guess is they will park the bus and get their goalie to run down the clock in the style of Eddie the Howe, just like the league game at Anfield. Basically live in hope of a breakaway goal while playing for penalties. I can't see them starting with Mount. I reckon Cassamero, Fernandes and Minamino(sp) in midfield with the usual basket cases up front unless Hojland, that young centre forward, is fit. He looks quite useful in fairness, they must have signed him by mistake. Unless we run riot, I can't see it being as good as the City game last Sunday. Still fancy us to win though.

  15. Had a quick squint at Sad Cafe earlier and one of their saddo's claimed that match was the last time a “good atmosphere” was experienced at OT. Despite being beaten the home support were constantly singing, which made the poster proud to be a MU fan. Lets hope we cheer him up with a repeat score this weekend.
  16. Excellent sentiments comrade. It reminds me of Conan the Barbarians battle-cry when helping fleet-footed Achilles and wily Odysseus sack the city of Troy; Crush Man United and see them driven before us. Hear the howling of their dogs, the sobbing of their children and the lamentation of their womenfolk as we slay their army and sell all survivors into slavery. It's the only way.
  17. Rather than scream blue murder at Tierney, it should bellow Klopps most famous quip every time a poor decision is made: What did you have for lunch if you didn't think that was a penalty?
  18. Nor was it included in the Match of the Day highlights. No wonder the Tories want to abolish the licence fee. Decisions like this validate their argument.
  19. Good result for the righteous and pure of heart. It puts Spurs 6 points ahead of “them” with a game in hand. If 5th place is good enough for the CL next year then 2-0 is an excellent days work. Hallelujah.
  20. Robbo at fullback for a must win game at Anfield has to be a bonus.
  21. Colin's endearing legacy at Aberdeen will be his post match interview in which a suspect VAR decision cost the Dons a goal. Asked for his opinion on the decision the great man replied: The VAR machine must have been manufactured by the same mob who supplied computers to the post office.
  22. Thank you Gethin.
  23. The answer is, “Yes”. Denis Bergkamp was famous for saying, “Before every pass is a thought”. Xavi Alonso trumped that by explaining before any pass he made he considered what pass, cross or shot the intended recipient could play. It sounds like that Monty Python fixture between the Greek and German philosophers but I'm sure Xavi wins the argument, at least until he joins Bayern.
  24. Show-off!
