Or the height. Q is only 6ft 2. He's a dwarf compared to the other two.

Can't see us buying a defensive midfielder until Stefan Bajetic has been given a chance to reclaim the position. Mo called him our best player when he first emerged. He has spent his year out with injury bulking out in the gym. If Step fulfils his initial promise he will save us a fortune in transfer fees. Would love to see him play before this season ends.

Jamie Carragher linking us with this manager. I've never heard of him either. Paulo Fonseca Having done an impressive job at Lille since taking charge in 2022, Fonseca has emerged as a surprise candidate with reports claiming the Reds held informal talks with him earlier this season. Fonseca has developed a bold, attacking and young team at Lille, with the likes of 24-year-old striker Jonathan David, 22-year-old goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, 18-year-old defender Leny Yoro and 23-year-old midfielder Angel Gomes all thriving under his management. Fonseca also has plenty of experience across Europe and he recently revealed his interest in coming to the Premier League one day, telling the BBC earlier this month: "I have to confess it is very attractive the championship in England, with the best coaches, with the best teams, with the best players."

Fulham vs Liverpool - Premier League, 21st April @ 4:30pm

True, but would have liked to see Danns included. Poor devil had a run on Thursday without ever touching the ball. -
Glad we didn't buy Bellingham, the guy so anonymous he made Moses Caicedo seem good value for money.

Liverpool are one of only three teams to score more than 70 Premiership goals so far this season, yet you think our entire strike force needs replacing? Yeah right.

Atalanta vs Liverpool - Europa League, 18th April @ 8pm

We may be underestimating Atalanta and their manager, Gasperini. Following last weeks game a journo familiar with Italian football was interviewed on the telly. He spoke highly of the Italian coach and claimed not to be surprised by the result. The journo pointed out that Italian football is full of up-and-coming young coaches, most of whom have either played for Gasperini or acted as junior coaches under his management. The tactic of man-marking Liverpool players, wherever they were on the pitch, when Kelleher had possession disrupted our method of playing out from the back and forced the goalie to kick it long. This played into the hands of Atalanta's big, muscular team who won most of the headed duals and regained the ball. According to the journo, this typifies Gasperini's research and tactical acumen which proved far too good for The Red's to overcome. He is expecting a similar outcome in the second leg. -
As I understand it, that's how Klopp coaches us to play. I'm sure I read an interview with Ginni years ago in which he claimed the team were coached to crowd out an opponent in possession and only tackle as a last resort. Not only was it a more productive method of regaining the ball but it reduced the risk of injury. As you know, the injury reduction argument worked well.

BRING HIM BACK, BRING HIM BACK While all is not well at Anfield at the moment, the same could be said at Werder Bremen. Former Liverpool star Naby Keita plays for the German side but walked out on his teammates after learning he was not in the starting lineup against Bayer Leverkusen. Werder Bremen sporting director Clemens Fritz said: "After Naby found out yesterday that he would not be playing from the start, he decided not to get on the bus but to go home. We will talk to him and his agent tomorrow about the consequences and how to proceed." Keita signed for Bremen in the summer after leaving Liverpool. But he has made just five appearances - only one of which has been a start.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace - Premier League, 14th April @ 2pm

Lets hope the rumour is true. Good to see Bradley back in the team. When he's subbed on the hour mark I hope Trent gets the nod, alongside Jotta, obviously. -
The Samaritans?

According to Teamtalk, Amorim want Liverpool to sign the following three players; Sporting duo centre half Goncalo (£51m) and winger Marcus Edwards (£30m) plus Bayer Leverkusen left sided wing back Alex Grimaldo (£39m). The Sporting pair are seen as replacements for the left footed Matip and Mo Salah and Grimaldo for Robbo. Grimaldo was a free transfer from Benfica at the start of the season who has contributed 26 goals to Leverkusen this campaign. Teamtalk claim the sale of Mo to SA this summer is inevitable and his transfer fee will cover the £120m needed to acquire the above trio. I'm not familiar with any of the above targets but Teamtalk claim they were first to announce Liverpool's interest in Darwin Nunez and Louis Diaz. If that boast is true there could be some truth in today's headline clickbait story.

A dour week just got worse, MrGamingStreams has been shutdown. The discerning fan can no longer watch QPR's heroic battle for championship survival in peace this season. It's uncivilised. -
I think so but, it could be Barca making waves.

All change this morning, he's now keen to sign a new contract even with 3 years left on his current deal. According to Football 365 the club are annoyed at the source of want-away transfer stories. No elaboration on what the source is. Hope this is true.

Hope you are wrong. If the new manager decides Jotta is first choice centre forward we will be the better for it. Injuries permitting. -

Replacing Bradley with Gomez not the smartest substitution when we need two goals. -
